For as much crap as the guy has taken all year (deservedly so) he put together a terrific gameplan yesterday. He finally realized that getting pressure on the QB makes everything a little easier.

The multiple looks and moving guys around right before the plays really seemed to affect Brady which was surprising. I think everyone blitzed at least once with the exception of the CBs. Hobson and Ellis seemed to be on a mission.

It was also nice to see Barrett back in their putting a lick on Watson.

The only negative was Drew Coleman...if Justin Miller can't get ahead of this guy on the depth chart right now that says a lot.

It's only 1+ games but since early in the 3rd qtr against Cle this D has looked completely different- I hope it continues.

We only did it on the final drive and it was the correct thing to do, we could allow underneath stuff as long as we kept them in bounds and w/ more DBs it gave Brady less plaes th throw and made him take more time. We played that last drive nearly perfect.

Some props but not major props. We were still sloppy as hell. Mostly in the first half. It's Bears time now.

What do you mean? There were some breakdowns that happen in every game and if Drew Coleman doesn't learn to tackle he has to sit, but playing on that field in a hostile environment I wouldn't say they were "sloppy as hell". Please elaborate....

The first half. The tackles and wrap ups were sloppy and the Pats' RB core knocked us over. We won't beat the Bears with that play. But I'm glad they have time to prepare after this particular game.

I agree 100% - 80 yards, no time outs, less than a minute on the clock, there's no way the Pats are going to get down the field far enough against that defense, barring a complete breakdown (missing tackles, PI, etc.).

Yeah this team does have a tackling issue. But the defense looks 100% better, nobody can deny that. The only reason they got burned on that 30 second drive was they didn't fall back into coverage and kept blizting. Now, I don't see that as a bad thing, as long as your guys can tackle. There were blown reads on that drive as well. One of the plays I saw the DB signal pass and drop back into coverage after the ball was snapped and Dillon brought it right to that side for a first.

Not a bad scheme, just learn to friggin tackle already.
