Now that the Pro Bowl Balloting is open which Jets players do you think deserve a spot on that roster?

Here is who I think should make it?

    Favre
    Jones
    Washington
    Mangold
    Revis
    Rhodes
    Jenkins

Here is who I think is outside the bubble?

    Pace
    Faneca
    Brick
    Harris

No one else to really add there... I think Jenkins / Revis / Leon should make it for sure.

    Washington (returner)
    Mangold
    Revis
    Jenkins

Legitimately, that's about it. Rhodes hasn't done much this year. He got snubbed the past two years but this hasn't exactly been Rhodes' best season.

I'm looking at this as though I was not a Jets fan and rather just a fan of the NFL--under these conditions, objectively, here are the guys who make it:

Jenkins: either starter or backup to wolfork (or whatever his name is on NE)
    Revis: starter
    LW: kick return starter

and thats really it. Hey--thats a lot. If they voted special teams separately, wallace wright would have to be on it and maybe even B. Smith. But I think the backups play special teams in the pro-bowl.

Yeah I forgot about Ellis and Wright. I hope right makes it and Leon the most.

Too bad the Pro Bowl is poplarity contest. But you gotta figure that TJ is the leading rusher in the AFC and had 9 TDS 2 less then then the leader he should be a shoe in if he keeps on pace. But you know LT and those other running backs will get the knod.

I think Farve will make just because it is a popularity contest.

True. Amongst DE's in the AFC Ellis is near the top. He could get consideration.

    Jenkins, Revis, Leon (kick returner)

Favre might deserve to go but the AFC has a lot of good QB's this year. If Jones keeps up what he's been doing the past few weeks then he should make it in too.

    Jenkins, Revis, Rhodes, and Leon.

Favre? Are you kidding me? Not even close.

I'd send Rivers, Cutler, and Manning, in that order, for the AFC. Those are pretty much the only three good QBs in the AFC right now.

Ellis - but won't get the fan vote, so his great season goes to shit.
Jenkins, Revis, LW - in no problem.
Favre might get in because he's favre and he is 5th in TDs. The Fans are that way.
Jones should because he's the AFC leading rusher right now, and top 3 when its all said and done.
Rhodes could be a backup with a few more big plays. One Pick 6 and he's in contention. defenses just don't throw to him.
    Keller.... haha.

In your "who should make it list", I agree with everyone except for Favre. Don't get me wrong, he has been good (and btw, in my opnion, no one should be allowed to vote for the pro-bowl until, AT LEAST, the regular season is over. I know that isn't the way the NFL does it but I've always felt that it was idiotic to be picking players for the pro bowl halfway through the season) but I don't see him as beating out Peyton Manning, Phillip Rivers or Jay Cutler for one of the three QB spots. (I admit that he should get some consideration, and if he really continues to play well down the stretch, he very well my change my mind by the end of the season - the time when voting SHOULD JUST BE GETTING UNDERWAY)

I don't think any other Jet should make it.

I'd take Rivers, Favre, then Cutler in that order.

Why should Cutler and especially Manning go before Favre?

I also don't think that Favre should be in the Pro Bowl. But being a fan favorite and the Ironman of football. Pretty much to me makes him a shoe in since half the time we the voting doesn't go by stats I.E. Kerry Rhodes (c'mon John Lynch the past 2 years) and goes by that Fan favorite and to get to see him play on the AFC team is priceless in some peoples eyes, but what would be more priceless is him going against his old team.

I think you might be retarded, but I'm not sure.

    First question:

Do you know what the Pro Bowl is?
