I'm a Petty fan, but you gotta like how he looks in the huddle before the play. Comes in, delivers the play and pretty much lets everyone know what they're supposed to do.

You'd have to be in complete denial to think Petty should be below Hack on the depth chart.

We still need to absolutely pick up an offensive lineman once cuts come. There are always a few holy shit why did they get rid of him cuts.

Cool watching Hack suck, Adams miss a bunch of tackles while Mahomes look great all at the same time.

the whole 1st string o and d stunk. hack had no help, drops, no time. absolutely nothing you can ascertain about hack from this game. wasted a half of football is all that happened.
petty looks good now with some time and wr's catching the ball though. thats a plus

    1. Jets roster is devoid of talent.
    2. Petty's surrounding casts are worse than the "devoid of talent" level guys.
    3. He's going up against 2nd teamers, surrounded by walmart staffers. [Nothing against the shipping boys at Walmart, mind you.]
    4. Somehow he looks pretty god damn good.
    5. Thus you start McClown, come season opener.

Miles left with an eye laceration.

I hope it's not serious, and he'll be okay.

Still my avatar. Alex Smith should be available pretty soon! Guess what type of offense the Chiefs run...WCO, same as us. Mahomes would have been perfect fit, but Mac knows best.

That Petty decision to run looked forced but I couldn't see the whole field - was everyone covered? He needs to be looking to pass the ball there IMO if anyone was remotely open. Still, he is moving the team.

He kept his head downfield so I would imagine our lead footed Wr's were all covered.

He also lost control of the locker room. The team was poorly prepared and unmotivated all season. His in game decision making, clock management, was horrendous.

It looks like Bowles has been hitting the Entenmanns as part of his off-season regimen.

All stuff players can be taught, if only we had the coaches to do so. :(
