Everyone is forecasting them to have monster year. Personally, I see lots of talent on the team, but not a team. Watching hard knocks, the other game recaps and the Texans game I think that they have NO mental focus at all. I think this is a big factor as to why they could not win a playoff game. They just have no focus and discipline. Wade Phillips isn't tom coughlin, their camp is marshmellow, they've looked sloppy in games. After dominating the first 15 mins of a game against the Texans; an endzone interception totally destroyed their game and they let the Texans back in. Elite teams won't do that, and I don't see them as being gamers or mentally tough enough to play into the playoffs. Anyone else have thoughts? MOD- Can you change the title to this year, so no one gets mixed up? Thanks
You have a good point in that they don't have a motivator. The only one who I can see as a motivator is their DC Brian Stewart, but Phillips is not the guy I want coaching my team in the SB. A good friend of mine that is a Cowboy fan hates Phillips.
I'm guessing NFC title game, or maybe even Super Bowl. Great team. Even better now then last year. Won't beat the AFC tho.
