Would love 7-5 through first 13 weeks. Win 3 of 4 in final quarter of season and you're in thr playoffs .. 9-7 maybe gets us in

But I feel those are games we can win.

A lot of it hinges on our secondary. Like if Milliner and Allen improve like we expect or if we draft a new guy. Games like the Lions (possibly Watkins/Evans), Bears, Green Bay, NE, are gonna require a better secondary than last year. My best guess. Week 1 : vs Oakland W ( nice win to start season ) Week 2: @ Green Bay L ( close but no cigar) Week 3: vs Chicago W ( not as close as expected ) Week 4: vs Detroit W ( Jets squeak by - home field win ) Week 5: @ San Diego L ( West Coast trip......) Week 6: vs Denver L ( not very close ) Week 7: @ New England W (upset) Week 8: vs Buffalo W ( convincing win ) Week 9: @ Kansas City L ( back to earth a little ) Week 10: vs Pittsburgh W ( we play well against Steelers for a change ) Week 11: BYE Week 12: @ Buffalo L ( another flat performance in Orchard Park ) Week 13: vs Miami W ( Jets play well and due for a win have lost 5 of 6 to Miami at home ) Week 14: @ Minnesota W ( Vikings not too good ) Week 15: @ Tenn W (big game for CJ) Week 16: vs New England L ( clunker at home - not good enough to sweep NE yet ) Week 17: @ Miami W ( win clinched playoff berth ) 10-6
The NFC North match ups are going to be toss ups besides maybe GB. I feel as though we can beat Detroit and Minn easily. But who will be on MEGATRON? The Chicago game is be stressful once Alshon, who people still are upset we didn't draft is catching everything on Kyle. I see us going 10-6 at best depending mainly if we can win in our division.
I agree that it's too early but what the hell: Week 1: vs Oakland - W Week 2: @ Green Bay - L Week 3: vs Chicago - L Week 4: vs Detroit - W Week 5: @ San Diego - W Week 6: vs Denver - L Week 7: @ New England - L Week 8: vs Buffalo - W Week 9: @ Kansas City - L Week 10: vs Pittsburgh - W Week 11: BYE Week 12: @ Buffalo - L Week 13: vs Miami - W Week 14: @ Minnesota - L Week 15: @Tennessee - W Week 16: vs New England - W Week 17: @Miami - W Final record prediction: 9-7 Home record: 6-2 Away record: 3-5 Not really at all confident with those picks. Not really sure we can win last three in a row with two on the road, one against the Pats. I do think that we will go 4-2 against division rivals so split that any way you like. If we don't go 4-2 in division games then any talk of playoffs is just silly IMO.

Secondary stands out as obvious weak spot of team, Milliner improves big time, but depth not solid enough. Ivory goes down in week 5, misses 4 games, plays till week 13 on limited roll before injured again out for remainder of the season, CJ runs for 1100 yards and 5 TD's. Stephen Hill continues to fail to show any sign of improvement, looks destined to be cut in offseason, Decker proves to be a solid #2 but nothing more. Richardson suffers injury in week 10, misses rest of season, Wilkerson 6.5 sacks. Week 1: Jets win to start the season, solid way to start, Ivory runs wells finds the endzone once, CJ stumbles in first game as a Jet, Decker to have 61 yards on 7 catches, no TDs. Week 2: Jets can't keep up with Rodgers, forces game into the hands of Smith 1 passing TD and 1 rushing TD. CJ has 18 yard run, longest so far of the season, shows nice burst of speed bursting through the hole, clearly not much to cheer about offensively. Week 3: Jets up 21-14 in 4th quarter, fumble recovery inside Chicago's 20 leads to Ivory second TD of season, Geno 2 passing TD's both to new TE Amaro. Chicago roars back late in 4th with long offensive drive to tie game 21-21, stops Jets offense, two minute drill a success FG kick is good in final seconds of game, game over Week 4: Jets start off slow to 21-3 deficit, Geno Smith big time fumble on the Jets own 15, several 3 and outs. Megatron has 2 TD's and 100+ yards, Jets make second half splurge 28-24, Detroit finds end zone on late 4th quarter drive, nail in the coffin, Jets rally over. Decker catches first TD as a Jet, finds endzone twice in the game, 1 rushing TD for Smith. CJ's biggest run of the day, 6 yards. Week 5: Jets defensive front has big game, 5 sacks on the day and a forced fumble recovered. Jets offense relatively quiet, Amaro catches TD pass from Smith as does Kerley. Ivory suffers knee injury, will miss 4 games Week 6: Jets actually put up nice game against Denver, down 28-20 in final minutes of game, Jets find the endzone big time run by Powell for 26 yards, Jets fail 2pt conversion to try to tie game. Decker has solid game against old team, 91 yards on 8 catches but no TD's, Hill catches first TD of season. Week 7: Revis quiet, Smith makes limited throws in his direction, Decker a non factor. Big time run by CJ, first sign of life from the RB as he take it 64 yards to the house. Brady roars back hits Edelmen on screen inside the 15. Second NE drive halted by big time Wilkerson sack, Geno runs in TD. In second half Geno hits Hill for long ball 48 yards knocked out of bounds at around the 28 yard line, Smith ends up hitting Amaro in the endzone for a TD. Brady comes roaring back with 2 scoring drives. Pats get ball to start OT, drive down field and score FG, 4th and 3, Geno runs out of time in pocket throws bad pass no catch game over Week 8: Jets offense explodes, big time game for CJ, 171 yards with 2 TDs, Powell with 1 TD, Geno with 1 TD to Decker, pick six for Harris on busted screen pass. Week 9: No life in Jets offense, Smith 3 INTs, makes 10 on the season, including 1 pick six for KC. Defensive game ultimately decided by KC's ability to make plays on D and one TD scoring drive by offense. Week 10: 1 more INT and a fumble for Geno, Powell TD. Another embarrassing loss for Jets and poor game by Smith at 3-7 Rex decides to make change in attempt to save season, Geno suffers minor injury during game on a sack, Rex uses that as a scapegoat to start Vick. Week 11 (bye): No game news Week 12: Jets come up small against Buffalo after bye week, TWO big drops by Hill, Vick shows flash of speed with 35 yard but leads to no points. Ivory finds endzone again since return from injury. Week 13: Vick has nice outing against MIA, CJ has 100 yard game and touchdown, Ivory goes down with injury (re-tweeks knee) will miss remainder of the season. Vick TD pass to Amaro and 289 yards with 31 rushing on 4 carries. Defense has INT and 2 sacks. Week 14: Controversy stirs as Geno is clearly now 100% but Rex continues to play Vick, Vick finds decker in endzone twice powell has nice yard game, defense plays well with 3 sacks and a pick. Week 15: CJ gets 41 rushing yards against former team, 15 coming from one run. Vick rushes for TD and finds Kerley for one more through the air. Jets defense plays poorly gives up nice 38 yard TD run to Greene, can't stop Locker on his feet. Week 16: Jets get embarrassed by NE, Brady has 4 TD game, Vick finds endzone once to Hill. Week 17: Jets lose, CJ with 100 yard game and TD but Vick implodes, 2 fumbles lost and sacked 5 times.
lol..5 of the 6 top passing offenses from last year all in a row..green bay, chicago, detroit, san diego and denver..if that wasn't enough we follow it up with new england...that should go good with our degraded defensive backfield.
WOW - that would send most of the board straight to floor 13......even myself being the utmost darksider doesn't expect this to happen. we'll see.
