I enjoy reading everyone' s thoughts on who the jets should take at 4 and 10 (assuming no trades). This thread invites you to predict who do you think the jets WILL take, not who they SHOULD take, assuming all things equal, they stay at 4 and 10. I fully realize that free agency, who is drafting ahead of them, etc. and many other factors are involved here. But, what the hell, this is just for fun, who thinks they know the mind of Joe Douglas best? Predict what you think Douglas will do assuming they stay at 4 and 10. My prediction: Pick 4 OL Ekwonu Pick 10 DE J. Johnson Yes, I know this is a little early for Johnson, but he had a great Senior Bowl week, and I think Douglas will focus on OL and DL first. Okay, tell me where I went wrong.
I think Kayvon slips to them at 4. They take him as a huge area of need and talent. At 10 if he get there I can see them take Burks. He is a perfect fit for this offence.
And if that’s the case it wouldn’t surprise me to see them take Zion Johnson if he’s there at 35 or possibly trade back up for that OT Trevor Penning who they seemed to like at the Senior Bowl.
