im taking it as an amusing thread. i mean how many other teams have so much drama surrounding the punting position? only the jets, which makes it funny to me.
It is meant as an amusing thing except I might bump it as a discussion thread if he becomes relevant to the game. Also, someone could post things that could make it more meaningful. I would argue that your contribution to the thread is really the thing that is meaningless and probably belongs in trash talking.
Come on now. This is the Jets, of course he shanks it...and probably gets injured in the process. in the meantime, Ben Graham gets signed to the Pats and plays QB and is the next Joe Montana
Gotta admit, it does seem plausable. Imagine, dropping 62, no punts. I wonder if the recent stuff has put any faith in that kicking game, because the way favre produced last week in FG range on 4th down you gotta wonder why you would ever, right now, want to settle for three. With the main kicker back, or the backup kicking well in practice right now, all I know is settling for three will seem like a waste. Lets wait till a 4th down conversion doesn't happen I say, before kicking FG's (unless it's cercumstantial). Dropping 62 seems like a stretch when dallas got barely into the 20's against them - but Favre is better then Romo. Of course, right now, Favre is playing better then everyone. Still, it is what it is. I would not take the ball from favres hands right now. When he gets on a roll like this, you have to ride it.
yes, but this thread is still head and shoulders above the TBJF and GSourJr threads...2 classic morons from 2 different worlds..
It's gonna hang up there so long that when it comes down (around the 5 yard line) our whole unit will have the returner surrounded with their hands on their hips... lol
low line drive but we get lucky and it we get a good bounce and ends up behind the 20 the rest of the game consists of shanks, blocked punts, and shots of clemens practicing his punts on the sidelines.
