Looks like it is on Ivory's shoulders. I hope Ridley can pick up where he left off last week and contribute.
Dee also inactive again. No surprise here. Let's see what they do in the passing game and who takes over for Bilal.
Definitely does. But flip side is we have two guys, Ivory and Ridley, who are effectively on a one game tryout for their next contracts. Those guys will be running with reckless abandon today, and enunwa/Thompkins are emerging as receding threats
Big loss, BP has been a vital part of this winning streak. BP has such a varied skill set and is finally being utilized properly. He's been a great safety outlet for Fitz, yet he can also get yards on the ground as well as his blitz pick-ups. With the weather today in Buffalo a safety outlet like BP is going to be missed...
Early before Geno was ready? Maybe the game after Geno got his ribs bruised? Fitzpatrick was ready to go all 16 games and the only time he missed was after he tore his thumb in the Raider's game. Guttiest performance by a Jet since Cotchery left IMO. Maybe you can put Mangold in there a few times when he shouldn't have been over the years in the running too. It's a good thing the Jets gave Petty a redshirt year. It wouldn't be bad if he got to redshirt next year either but he'll probably be the backup QB.
Powell is a huge loss. Hopefully Ivory can keep himself healthy enough today to stay on the field so that we don't have to rely exclusively on Ridley.
I know earlier in the year the Ridley signing the lengthy PUP list stay was a little concerning. But this is the ideal scenario for him to shine. It's windy and cold up here today and the running game will be one of the keys to us advancing to the playoffs. Ridely's previous fumbling issues have me a little concerned though...
Powell has had some really key plays in the 5 game win streak. This is concerning, others are going to have step up and make those plays today.
