Solution to all of our Sunday problems. A minimum post count required to start threads on gamedays. I suggest 3,000, with the ability to have privileges revoked....

i like the idea... but 3k, is far too much.

Can you put a post count required to make threads just on sundays? then it would be more allowable. Then Monday-Saturday morons can make threads, and less over-reactions will take place 24 hours after a win/loss.

How about, if you make a shit thread (ie. I'm supporting the Giants now) then you can have thread making privileges revoked for life.

3000? Shit, I'll need to be here for 6-7 more years to reach that level.

I find it's much easier to just ignore the crappy threads, maybe make a smart-ass comment in them and just let the mods do the weeding when they can.

I like the idea as a way of keeping trolls from ruining page 1 of the Jets forum but that number is way too high. That cuts a lot of good posters out from starting threads.

Possible solution: Take the average for the highest post counts in the game day threads and tack on about 10-15 more. That way trolls cannot jack up their post counts on game day and start their bull-crap after the game. That should give you your number.

I like nyjetsrule's suggestion as well.

Make it 10,000 posts on gameday only, and 3,000 for every other day.

That way the retards will never be able to post a thread and then disappear until next sunday.
