Several months ago, I was challenged by nyjunc to point out when the jets site omits articles, whether by accident or intentionally. Well, there have already been several incidents wherein this has happened, but today I finally found the time to point it out. As of this posting, the NY Post article has been omitted, for apparently no reason. Obviously, if it shows up later, then I will disregard this specific instance. Simply compare these two sites: http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/clippings which is the Jets site of course, with: http://prosportsdaily.com/nfl/jets/ which contains an RSS feed for all things Jets. I didn't understand the big issue then, and I don't understand it now. What's so bad about them cherry picking stories for their website. It I owned the team, I would link to any outside news stories at all. I'd have my own cub reporter writing glowing %@#king stories every single morning, just so I could start my day with sunshine flying out my ass. What's wrong with it? Nothing. It's just that the FO fan boy named nyjunc couldn't believe that it was possible that our Jets would do something like that, and challenged me to prove it. So I'm just pointing it out. Seen?
