if mcfad and gholston gone do it--it would have to be for carolina's 1 and 2--if you take a rb then at 1, move thomas jones (back to the bears?). we don't need 4 halfbacks.
we could always cut jessie chatman, he's only a 1 yr deal. This trade is paramount to the success of this year. Having multiple picks in the early rounds to shore up the holes with depth is what this team needs. 2 2nd round picks could get us 2 more starters, and could be near stars in a short time. Merling might be worth it at 13 even with the injury, Lofton and Moore would be awesome, shoring up the front 7. I'd like to see a CB taken with one of those picks though, maybe DRC, McKelvin, or Talib with the 13. This trade is exactly what this team needs.
Someone could take him high due to his huge potential, but I've seen numerous reports that GMs are afraid that he is a workout warrior, and a that he really only turned it on for one season. I like Dre Moore, and I would love to see him become a Jet. I've been saying this for a long time: Fans put way too much stock into 40 times. Game film, interviews, and private workouts are what get players drafted. Not 40 times.
