I wonder this becuase we just dont know what direction the FO is going with the FA signings (Von Oelhoffen and looking into the Tackles..) and the draft

yea i agree.. if they want d will they have to trade down... cause @ #4 they couldnt even justify not taking one of the top 5 "bluechip" players

I don't know about taking him at #4 but I wouldn't mind taking him if we traded down

the organization will be more of a laughing stock in the nfl if we dont select 1 of the top 5 blue chip players at 4.if we dont then why did we bother sticking at 4?

We would reach for Jay Cutler a little bit at 4 before we even think about reaching for Deangelo at 4...

Everyone on this page thinks that he is going to be great running a 4.3+ (which I have not found) so if he is going to be an all pro great running back which is what everyone was saying on the Deanglo thread what the hell is the dif if we took him at #1, #4, #35, or anyother number if he is that good hes that good

Its called reaching. I understand your point, but if we think a 3rd round prospect is going to turn out to be a great football player it doesn't mean you draft him in the first round.

First of all , it's "right off the bat", and if they did it I would say what a waste of the 4th pick because we can trade down and get a player in the deal and still draft DeAngelo. There's no way they are dumb enough to do that though, it makes no sense and if they did we would be the laughing stock of pro sports......well we kinda already are.....

Why would we give up 3 picks for him when we could just get him at #4 and then get 3 other players that have just as much of a chance to be the next great steal as anyone that is in the draft

true but you dont let them get away either or trade 3 picks to move down to get him (you didnt say that part someone else did)

With the hole in the O-line we have going into the draft we had better take a RB with some size..JJ Arrington last was year proof you can go off in college but running with no O-Line (Cardinals) will equate to a long season..I think we need to pass on RB. With the lack of need at RB by most teams in the draft we might get lucky at #35 and see Maroney drop..you never know..

maybe it might take at least 2 picks to move up in the top 10 and have 2 top 10 picks. the case pointed out is a possibility to have deangelo on the team. he would be a geat pick up.

Nope we are not. Thats title belongs to the Lions and Cardinals. In the past 9 years we have actually been a respectible team. We just had an injury plagued year which made us look shitty.

i would be furious we dont need a rb let alone at the 4 spot draft one next year when martin is gone and we have room on the depth chart

I like the way you think. We dont need to get a ok RB at this point or QB lets start rebuilding and then get a QB and/or RB next year
