http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061203/NEWS99/61203006 Get scared, Michigan fans. Florida is the new No. 2 team in the USA Today coaches poll, jumping from fourth and passing the Wolverines, who remain No. 3. Although the official BCS championship game pairings won't be announced until tonight at 8, the first component is in and the USA Today coaches' poll has Florida with 26-point lead over Michigan, 1,470-1,444. The coaches poll is a one-third component of the overall BCS rankings formula. Ohio State coach Jim Tressel abstained from voting in the poll. Michigan coach Lloyd Carr has a vote. Florida coach Urban Meyer does not. Last week in the coaches' poll, No. 3 Michigan led No. 4 Florida by 40 points, 1,445-1,405. That means the Gators made a 66-point swing following Saturday's SEC championship game victory over Arkansas. The other human poll component, the Harris Interactive poll of media, former coaches and former players, had No. 3 Michigan with a 2,614-2,528 lead over the Gators last week. That poll is expected to be released later Sunday afternoon. EDIT: They both have Florida ahead of Michigan
it's almost certainly going to be florida-ohio state. AP poll, Harris poll, everything has florida 2nd, apparently.
