I came up with an idea a way we could kind of grade Bricks performance over the rest of the season. After every game ill put a poll up asking everyone to grade his performance for that game. Then at the end of the season ill average the most chosen grades for every Sunday.

I voted B this week after A last week. He seemed to be getting pushed back a lot today. However, he is fast as a lead blocker

Seemed okay today, but couldn't seem to get a handle on some of the LBs he was matched up against on outside plays (running/screen). That was surprising as his foot speed was considered one of his strongest attributes. Therefore I was expecting him to just get up there and throw guys out of the way, but he looked like he couldn't get in good position to do that upfield.

He was pretty mobile getting down the field and making his blocks. I think he has proven to be a solid pick so far...unlike d slob which we got for 2 first round picks...

I watched him today while at the game to get a handle on some of the comments made the past few weeks. Other than one pass rush early in the game where he got bull rushed and a couple of missed blocks on running plays, he played very well and was a big factor in the emergence of the Jet running game.

I feel after an offseason of getting stronger and learning some new technique he will be really good next year.

They pulled him a lot more this game which I think work's to his advantage.

I made a concerted effort to watch him today as well, mostly because of the Warner Wolf idiot from last week.

He looked excellent. I saw him on more then one occasion knock his opponent down/off the LOS. The only big wiff that I saw was on an outside run where a DB went around him. I think it was a LW run. He pushed a defender back 3 yards on Barlow's TD run in the 2nd. Quarter. Maybe the idiot from last week confused Brick with Anthony Clement.

He is a rookie going against every top flight DE in the league. He has hardly given up a sack, and if he does it is only 1 in a game. He is improving weekly, especially in his run blocking. His downfield blocking today was nothing short of excellent. How many outside runs was he a lead blocker? I would say almost all of them.

I suppose until he is Anthony Munoz and Jonathon Odgen wrapped up in one, he is going to have his detractors.

    I gave him an A.

I didn't catch the whole game but what I saw was impressive. They had success running to his side and he did a good job in protection again. I give him a B.

What did Warner Wolf say? And where? I thought CBS canned him.

LOL, I was making fun of some guy that said he watched "video tape" of Brick and said he got blown off the LOS every play............That he basically sucked and was worthless.

Did you know that Warner Wolf is a distant cousin of Abraham Lincoln? (File that under the Cool, but who cares category)

Apparently this thread is on D-brick. It certainly helped that Matt Leinart lost to the Raiders today. I really hate that comparison.

All I have to say is way to seal off your blocks D'Brick great job, that play where leon ran it to left side D'Brick sealed his block perfectly, and one play on the goaline for leon D'Brick drove his man to the ground just like he did on the Jets 24/7 bio they did on him today. Great game today for D'Brick, an easy A.

    very solid.

Seems week in and week out, he gets off to a slow start...adjusting to the some of the real good defensive ends.

He learns fast and goes on to have a pretty damn good game....which is a great sign.

Mangold and dbrick were great draft choices.

James Hall last week at 3.5 sacks, yesterday he was relegated to 1 tackle.

Like most have said, his speed to the sideline is like a fullback! He leads very well for Leon on the toss' plays yesterday, we had a great view from behind the endzone where D'Brick kicks it to the outside in amazing speed...Very happy about his play thus far.

I'll Even Admit He HAd A Good Game: Showed Signs

He Has A Lot To Learn But Showed Marked Improvement.

Why did he fall ackwardly on Leon Johnsons TD run?

He has issues with balance. He has to lock someone up when he's leading off tackle.

    He kinda runs aimlessly.
