    Anyone else attending this today in Long Beach? My son and 8 year old nephew go in with my son's Engine Company...

    I thought a plunge is just a plunge? ... hahaha

    Luckily dudes in Engine Companies have buddies who are EMTs and ready to treat hypothermia...hhehe

    I'm sure the alcohol is an important factor for some in deciding to jump into freezing water.

    I'd eat 89 hot dogs at Nathans in 15 minutes before I'd dip a toe in the water in February.

    We should start a contest to come up with the strangest things that we think we could get dozens of random strangers to do in the name of public challenges.
