TEAM 1 Carson Palmer/Trent Green Steve Smith Anquan Boldin Hines Ward Shawn Alexander Ronnie Brown Jeremy Shockey K- Shane Graham DEF- Tampa Bay and Carolina TEAM 2 Tom Brady Terrek Owens Santana Moss Terry Glen LaDalain Tomlinson Reuben Droughs Ben Watson K- Jason Elam DEF- Seattle and Jacksonville EDIT: team number two guy is going waa waa he says that ben watson has been replaced with alge crumpler, terry glen replaced with deon branch and reuben droughs replaced with steve jackson
I went with team 1 because I think Palmer is the best fantasy QB out there and you have 2 of the top 7-8 RBs and I hate Reuban Droughns. Team 2 probably has stronger WRs but team 1 has the better TE and defenses.
team 1 trumps team 2 simply because Owens and Glenn are both WR for Dallas, this means 3 things, split production, same bye week, and should that offense struggle on one day, you lose 2/3 of your WR production instead of just 1/3. Yes i understand this could work in reverse, But Bledsoe is not Peyton Manning, he can't throw for 450 yards 6 touchdowns to his entire team in one game. Bledsoe will develop a favorite to go to in certain situations, in the red zone and when he needs a big catch. So probably, Owens will get all the Td's while Glenn gets points pretty much from just his yardage, as the #2 guy.... Don't get me wrong this is a great problem to have if you're a dallas fan, but from a fantasy perspective, it doesn't look good. Also Reuben Droughs is not exactly a fantasy monster, and While i think LT is due to return to form, and i believe he might actually out run both Alexander and Larry Johnson, he won't outscore them but i think he will lead the league in Yardage, he has no choice if the chargers are going to make the playoffs, Rivers just isn't ready IMO. Team one is stacked, they got a Great QB in Palmer--- if he returns to form, and if he doesn't solid backup in Trent Green. Alexander led the league in Td's last year..... so it's feasible to see him racking up super td numbers this season aswell. Ronnie Brown is an interesting optioin, because he is the starter, but with no premier healthy QB in Miami at least to start the year, and his limited experience, everyone is going to gun right at him. Is he up to the challenge i have no clue, i just hope that when he's playing the NYJ he forgets which direction his end zone is in.... Wr's are all solid #1 targets (Boldin is arguable with Fitzgerald, but i believe he is still Warner's top target) who play for different teams. Thus in My Eyes Team one kicks the crap outta Team 2...
I'd have to go with team 1 as well, Palmers a question mark with the injury but even Green is about equal to Brady fantasy wise. The recievers are pretty equal, and I'd slightly take Brown over Droughns. But the big advantage is at TE, where I like Shockey a lot more then Watson.
Terrek Owens? LaDalian Tomlinson? Who are these guys? I have never heard of those two presumed rookies, and because of that, my vote goes to team #1
