If the jets and broncos win this sunday what would the playoff bracket look like. Because i have to know when the jets would play the chargers if they got to that point in the playoffs.
If we end up the 6th seed and win our game our second game would be against the Chargers because they are the top seed.
Denver would be seed #5, the Jets would be seed #6. The Jets would play at SD if they win their wild card match-up against either Indy or NE (50/50 chance of either team)
Balt. can as well be the 1st seed. Not likely but yeah. Cards need to beat SD and Balt needs to beat Buf.
Yeah, we're assuming it's SD, like you said not likely it won't be SD and we better hope it is. If we win the first round, I can see the Jets going into SD and pulling off the upset, the Jets have matched up well with SD the last few years. Baltimore though would be another story I'm afraid.....
If the Jets make the Playoffs, what time would they play? Sat 4:00 ? 8:00 ? Sun 1:00 ? 4:00 ? Are those the time slots?
Those are the time slots for the first weekend. If the Jets get NE I would think they would play Sat nite. If it's the Colts it could be any time.....
Assuming we play the Colts, it will probably be Saturday, not sure of which time though. Francesa (who works for NBC) said that the two best ratings grabbers for the first round are Dallas and Manning. And it's doubtful they'll take Denver/New England, they already had them this year, and they wouldn't take that over the Cowboys or Peyton Manning. I think it's very possible Jets/Colts would be the Saturday night game. Manning + NY market. I'm guessing that is better than Dallas + Seattle market.
Based on who I think will win this weekend... Dallas at Seattle in the late game on Sunday. Somebody at Philadelphia on Saturday in the early game. Denver at New England on Saturday night. Jets at Colts on Sunday at 1. Just read post above this one. If NBC gets to pick the games, then maybe this: Sat at 4- Dallas-Seattle Sat at 8- NYJ-IND Sun at 1- PHI Sun at 4- DEN-NE
Despite losing to the Colts and beating the Patriots on their turf, that'd seem like a good deal for the Jets. I'd much rather prefer that they face the perennial choke-artists, than the ever intimidating playoff monsters.
Where do we stand now? Pats won, Colts winning, and Broncos winning. If all hold were looking at Indy?
We face Indy if Indy wins and Balt wins We face NE if Indy loses We face Balt if Balt loses and Indy wins.
