Two teams sharing our record right now are making the playoffs. WE ARE A TIE BREAKER AWAY FROM BEING IN THE PLAYOFFS RIGHT NOW. Guess what happens if we beat Buffalo Sunday? WILD CARD SPOT! And if we do that, and the angry Colts beat the Pats in Indy? (likely) SHARE OF THE DIVISION LEAD!!!! It's not all gloom and doom, people! Is the Road to Super Bowl XLIII paved for the Jets? No, of course it isn't. But let's not lose sight of the fact that YOUR NEW YORK FOOTBALL JETS ARE A TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD AND CURRENTLY A TIEBREAKER AWAY FROM A PLAYOFF BERTH!!!!!
Jets win and Pats lose, its a 3 way tie for first, with the Bills and Pats playing each other the next week. Its a nice scenario. It can still be done, but if the Jets play the way they did in the last 2 weeks, they won't get there. It can happen, I just need to see it to believe it. My faith has diminished since post-Bengals.
It's never too early to put things in perspective. The Jets are right there. If the team improves their play, the playoffs are well within reach.

Plenty of things. We've done things this year that we haven't done well in years. Stop the run, rush the passer, run the ball a little, throw downfield a little bit. We need to put it all together, that's all. If that doesn't do it for you, there is always the fact that the team that has played the way it has played was the team from the first 7 games. This is the eighth, and when they put the uniform on you never know what you're gonna get It's a brand new ball game so get out yer green pom poms and let's go!
