    Jameis Winston, Florida State, QB
Winston could be the top pick overall.

    Marcus Mariota, Oregon, QB
Mariota, like Winston, is the only quarterback projected to go in the first round. He could also be a trade chip.

    Kenny Bell, Nebraska, WR
The 6-foot-1, 197-pound Bell is a projected late-round pick. He also has an outstanding Afro.

    Devin Funchess, Michigan, WR
Funchess is big (6-4, 232) and can be dangerous after the catch, but drops are an issue. Projected first or second rounder.

    Keith Mumphrey, Michigan State, WR
Mumphrey is considered a hard worker, but he sometimes struggles to get open.

    Brandon Bridge, South Alabama, QB
The Ontario, Canada, native is a late-round prospect. He said he met with Jets quarterbacks coach Kevin Patullo on Wednesday night.

Tre McBridge, William & Mary, WR
Has drawn comparisons to the Patriots' Brandon LaFell, but also said to lack acceleration.

    Brandon Scherff, Iowa, OL
A likely top 10 pick capable of playing inside and outside.

    Cedric Ogbuehi, Texas A&M, OT
CBSSports.com's NFL Draft scout has a third-round grade on him.

    Michael Burton, Rutgers, FB
Per NFL.com, Burton lacks the size and blocking ability to be a full-time fullback, but he can catch passes and could have value as a special teamer.

    Bud Dupree, Kentucky, OLB
One of the top edge rushers in the draft. Projected first rounder.

    Jamison Crowder, Duke, WR
Crowder clocked an (unofficial) time of 4.56 in the 40. Projected second rounder.

    Leon Orr, Florida, DT
Orr once left the team after being told he wouldn't start a game. Considered an athletic interior D-lineman who could go in the late rounds.

    Marcus Peters, Washington, CB
Projected first- or second-rounder who plays with physicality but was kicked off the team at Washington after frequently butting heads with coaches.

Interesting mix. I love that they talked to both QBs, Peters, Dupree & Crowder, but it's disappointing that they're not talking to any of the top WRs. I know it doesn't mean much, but after picking a bunch of scrub WRs in the middle rounds last year, hopefully Mac knows better. Hopefully, he knows to stay away from Funchess. He's another Cumberland. Size of a TE, but wants to play WR, and like Hill, he has problems with drops/hands. No thanks.

Is this a comprehensive list? It can't possibly be?

They haven't talked to Amari Cooper or Kevin White?

Phillip Dorsett is a guy they spent a lot of time with at the Senior Bowl.

Good question. That's just what the Star Ledger had in an article. I'm hoping those were just preliminary interviews they knew about, and the article will be updated later. Then again, the Jets could be using a bit of subterfuge, pretending not to be that interested in a WR in the first couple of rounds, while actually looking to take either White or Cooper or perhaps Devante Parker.

Let's remember that the combine is just one opportunity to interview players. There will be many, many more opportunities before the draft.

Been trying to find more tape on Bridge, but all I can find is this. If you do watch, you'll see that he starts slow, but at 5:55, it's a great play. (Additionally, the offense that they're running at S Alabama is interesting as it's really vertical. Some of the route trees look like NFL trees.) Bridge has a lot to work on, as he slings the football like he's trying to throw someone out at first (he'd probably make a great third baseman for the Mets). Some of those deep balls through, they're pretty. If we can't get Winston/Mariota, I wouldn't be upset with spending a 5-7 rounder on him. He's a much better investment than Boyd.
