The Top 10 looks reasonable, but I don't think Aqib Talib goes ahead of Dominique Rodgers- Cromartie or maybe even Mike Jenkins.

Great pickup for Buffalo. If not WR, they could definately use a pass-rusher.

I don't like DeSean Jackson going that high, even though Denver will be in the market for a WR.

I don't see Ryan Clady being picked after Chris Williams...

Hmmm. Joe Flacco in Round 1? He could sneak in there for certain via a team trading up or even to Green Bay, but I don't think he makes Top-20. Nice thought though as he's climbing up draft boards it seems.

I don't think San Fran will go for another ILB there. They spent a first round pick at the position last year and struck gold with Patrick Willis. I think Brandon Moore is their other starter and is pretty good. I see them looking for a RT, DE, OLB or S. I wouldn't put ILB out of the question, but I just don't see it.

I like Tyrell Johnson in Round 1 and the Giants going safety early, which is certainly their weak point. He might be the Giants choice in my next mock.

I think Brian Brohm will go ahead of Chad Henne.

That's quite a fall for Branden Albert. He looks as if he'll be a Top 15 pick come Draft Day.

I would be OK with Manningham. I'd rather Andre Caldwell or Early Doucet, but I wouldn't be thrilled.

Overall a solid job minus a couple of picks..

I'm not all that sure Maningham goes that high anymore. He ran a slow 40 at the combine and it was reported that he lied to clubs during his interviews and had to send out a letter apologizing for it. Sounds like he could drop like a rock in the draft.

I knew Manningham ran a disapointing 40-time at the combine and recovered at his Pro Day, but I hadn't heard anything about his poor interview sessions. That sounds like something that could land him in the 3rd or 4th...

In that case, I'm sure he won't be our pick..

If the board fell this way I'd like to see the Jets select Jerod Mayo in RD 2 and play him inside next to David Harris

Excuse me, I didn't notice Brohm was still available

I would hope the Jets select Brian Brohm

I like Curtis Lofton a little more than Jerod Mayo. I see Mayo becoming a very solid linebacker...in a 4-3 system.

Lofton reminds me of David Harris...neither great athletes, but they know how to get to the ball and make the tackle.

I was just comparing the two linebackers.

So if Lofton was available, would you want the Jets to draft him over Mayo?

there is no way manningham falls outta the second. He's still considered a top WR in the draft and i haven't heard any major character isssues. He's a very talented wide receiver. He is nothing like pac man or michael vick. McFadden has more character concerns than Manningham but you don't see McFadden slipping even outta the top 10.

Why would the Saints pass on Rodgers-Cromartie and Keith Rivers for Aqib Talib?

Why would the Ravens take an OT?

Albert and Clady will not fall that far, and Manningham and Flacco are reaches there.

    Malcolm Kelly?

If the Jets took Manningham over him I'd go crazy (and not in a good way).

    TOUGH QUESTION

Mayo might carry a slightly higher grade, while Lofton may be a better fit at 34ILB, but Mayo is not a bad fit at 34ILB

I don't know, MrE, I'll take either one

Because they need an heir at LT to Jonathan Odgen, who will likely retire by season's end.

They took Marshall Yanda in the 3rd round last year, but he might end up at OG. It's actually a good pick for Baltimore.

Reportedly lying and then giving a letter of apoloigy is a big issue. Certin teams may over look it, others will not. I doubt NFLDC would bring it up unless its an issue with some.

Hes much better than Caldwell. Everyone has to learn that for the most part, these Florida Gator WR are usually busts. Over the years outside of very few exceptions, these guys have not lived up to their bill and I dont think it will change either no offense to Caldwell.

As for Doucet, Id still take Mario over him. Doucet has size on him but hes slow and didnt have as strong of a year as I thought he would. Mario has SOME characters issues, no doubt but the kid can flat out play. His lone gripe would be the size and maybe he has these gimmie drops but he should be destined to middle of round 2. There are some teams who are hungry for WRs like Chicago and San Francisco and Baltimore and Denver that will take him and would be foolish not to. Also need to take into consideration that he worked with Henne who is often inconsistent, and Ryan Mallett who was a true freshman last year.

People are worried about Kelly because of his knees and the shape they are in.
