After watching him go up against the top seniors in the country today what do you guys think of him. We all know how important the nt position is in this defense and today he played really well. What did you guys think about him today? Where is he projected? Early Second?

I still really want our first pick to be an olb but a great NT helps out our defense just as much.

    Trade the fuck down.

If the Jets can pick up a 2nd and extra 3rd and a late rounder by going from 30 to 35-42 I'd love it.

There is so much value in round 2 and Taylor will be there.

I loved watching this kid move - I think his ceiling in the NFL is: The next Kris Jenkins.

    Just joking with you.

In all seriousness, I think Tayor's draft stock winds up climbing after this game. The Steelers have made a habit of drafting depth at their DLine BEFORE they need it(see: Ziggy Hood with Keisel and A Smith still on the roster) and Hampton, is getting up there in age. Despite his new deal, I wouldn't put it past them to take a back-up and Taylor would be a great fit at 31(please God, make me right on this one).

    I know you were

That prediction sounds right though. He'd be an amazing understudy to the Steelers. But if that means the Steelers would take him if the Jets don't, then that means he's a player and the Jets should snag him at 30.

I wouldn't mind taking Taylor... but if we do that we have to keep Ellis around for another year.
