This phil silva guy we signed is very intriguing. Hes 6'3 220lb and fast for his size running a 4.4 in the 40. Mayb well get lucky and hell turn into the next great WR. http://www.nflanswers.com/article.php?story=20060303004813826 sorry if sumthin similar was already posted.
"sumthin similar" is posted every time we pick up a free agent every year. "Mayb" we will ge lucky, but I'd be very, very surprised indeed.
Awesome If Phil is given a fair shot, he will produce. He didn't play football until his senior year of high school. Then he went to Division III Rowan. But, believe me, he has the tools and the charisma to achieve. And his WR coach at Rowan was awesome, Coach Volvolar!
I want to see if this guy will even make the team. If he can do that then amybe we can start talking about him.
Hey guys. I'm a junior at Rowan and I've seen this guy play. He has good size, speed, and hands. However, he doesn't run routes extremely well, which is what I think caused him to not get drafted. I've met him at a few parties, and he seemed like a nice guy. Hopefully he makes the team. Go Professorial Owls! (sigh...that's really our mascot.)
Honestly, I don't think he'llmake it. He has speed, and he has potential ability, but I don't think he possessed enough to have a spot. He will run with us in camps, probably on the practice squad, then eventually he will be let go.
