Big thanks to the "No Shit" department for their work on this one. Sucks for the kid, but that's just the way he is. He's not a top ten pick, not even close, never really understood why people had him rated that high.
One Word, GH ... "Potential" But I agree this kid never lived up to his potential at RU and he probably won't live up to it in the pros either I had Al Davis getting suckered by the potential in my mock, but if he doesn't I can definitely see AD sliding a long way
AL davis suckered in by potential? No way! Now there are conflicting reports about Mays's 40 time. Some are going with the "offical" 4.43. Others are siteing a sinked up run with he and the other two fastest 40's that was played on NFL network (I have not seen it) and he finishes in the middle of them, which would put him in the 4'3s I belive. I really think he will become Al's guy as the draft grows closer.
First bad thing I've heard about Weatherspoon by anyone. And if Berry isn't on the board and Cleveland passes on Haden I think they're making a mistake.
Only if the Raiders trade down, do I see that happening. Davis would have to be an idiot to sit at 8 and take him. He did it last year with DHB, he's not that stupid to do it again. Or is he?...
The one that supprised me most was Dunlap. We all know the kid has talent, but has the underachiver label. Then he goes out and gets a DWI... stupid. He needed to have great interviews at the combine. Prove that you know you made a huge mistake, have matured because of it, and are ready to move on and be a professional football player, not a playa in the Adam Jones mold. To come off as immuature seeemly unknowledgeable in his interviews is a huge mistake by both he and whom ever his handlers are.
ProFootballWeekly is on the same level as Bleacher Report...***EDIT: Actually, I got National Football Post and PFW confused. NFT is one of the worst sites ever. They have Wayne State's Joique Bell as their #4 or #5 overall running back prospect. I heard from numerous sources that Carlos Dunlap actually did well in his interviews.
I have a meeting at 2PM. Let me get done with that, and then I'll do some digging and post it a little later today.
I found this snippet on rotoworld quickly: What we have here is just conflicting reports...who's right and who's wrong? Most of the other stuff I've been hearing is on a SEC college football board that I post on. I'll try to post some of it later today when I have more time.
Awsome, thx! Conflicting reports, not uncommon. Dunlap could have been great for one team and not for the next. A team in the mid 20's could be spreading rumors about him hoping to sow the seeds of discontent in some minds to get him to fall those extra few spots. Possibly a combo of the two happening. God the next 50ish days jsut suck lol. Bring on the damn draft already!
