Pettine on Kyle Wilson: 'He's studying harder than any rookie that I've been around.' » By Manish Mehta June 10, 2010 8:56 PM
maybe all the Folk bashing will taper down now. I can't wait to see K.Wilson in the preseason.....i hope he soaks as much information as he can out of Revis...in case there's the off chance the Jets don't resign him.
If Wilson pans out, then Cromartie is not back next year, unless a good deal is worked out. Love the Harris comments and I hope they are working on his deal as well. So all those that were "worried about the kicking game". Where are they now? Goes to show how these practices mean little day to day. Wait until game situations to make a call on Folk.
I would hold back on that assumption till we see KW play in the regular season. He's certainly on the right track though....with the work ethic and determination aspects of the job.
Revis was covering Moss from day one after missing a good chunk of training camp. Love what I have heard about Wilson but Revis 2.0 is probably a stretch.
Kyle Wilson is one of the most impressive college defensive backs that I've seen in a long time. He was a huge reason for all of Boise State's success.
For a second, I thought Kellen Clemens was already gone. I had to actually google it to see if I missed something out. Apparently, Kevin is taking over the No.2 spot and KC will be gone around mid July.
Was thinking the same thing. I guess KC is officially, unofficially released? Kinda sad way to end his career. But no sympathy from me. He made in 4 years what will take me 2 decades...
We're still here. Or at least I am. What's funny is, many of you who were claiming a bunch of misses in multiple practices was not enough to judge on, are now acting as though this one practice justifies the move we made at K. Cause that makes sense? But again, I said I would wait to see how things pan out during TC/preseason before jumping off any cliffs, and so I will. The real issue, for me, was posters acting as though a solid kicking game is hardly important to a team's overall success. Which, of course, is a f***in' ridiculous notion.
Even if he did, it still wouldn't change the fact that his hips are stiff as fuck and he has no sort of lateral quickness or agility whatsoever. Not only is K-Dub a gifted athlete, but he's busting his ass in studying and doing off-the-field football-related work.
No. KC is apparently going to be released as early as July so it is safe to let Kevin or Ainge take the 2nd team snaps.
