Look, I know we have like 6 Fire Schotty/Schotty sucks threads....

Why sit here and Bitch about it. More than half of you go back and analyze every game, and IMO do so very well.

Friday our good friends in the media were kind enough to give us Rex's address.

Go back, watch films, take notes, and send a nice letter pointing out what's obvious to everyone on the planet.... (I mean nice...maybe some Pretzel M&M's might help.)

20 or 30 intelligent letters may get enough of his attention to at least put something resembling an idea in the man's mind.

I believe that he respects the Off.Coaching staff far too much, and meddles too little for a HC.

    Have at it.

    Dear Rex.

Schottenheimer sucks. But he is not the reason we lost this game. You cannot go down 24-0 in the first half and blame the OC for the loss, you just cant. If the D makes one stop in the 1st half, we win...That simple.

Zero points at home against GB.

    No 1st quarter offensive TD's.

    Ridiculous playcalling.

Bear in mind, this is not just about last night....

no reason to keep re-posting address.... it was plain stupid for media to do it as well in todays society we live in....This isn't a movie like Remember the Titans.... if your sending mail to a head coaches house you have way too much time on your hands...

I thought a few of the play calls in the first half were stupid....like the handoff to Cotchery that lost 5 and the failure to run outside much. We don't need to save the 15-20 yard pass plays for 3rd and long.

At the end of the day, though, the difference was execution...on both sides of the ball. It was too little, too late.

FWIW, ignoring the premise of the thread, a couple dozen Thank you cards wouldn't hurt either.

Seriously, as much as I am annoyed with Schotty, there is no way I would do that. Go check out youporn or knit a sweater with your spare time man.

I'm not so sure I agree with promoting Callahan.

I can't stand Schotty but is Callahan the answer?

Paul Hackett would produce more points with this team, than Schotty.

Promoting Callahan would allow you to keep the playbook and get better play calling.

Personally, I think if Rex took a more Parcells-like attitude toward the play calling Schotty could produce.

    But he just doesn't.

Go back and watch some of the SoundFX or Parcells retrospectives.

When something clearly doesn't work, he's right down there coaching the coaches.

Rex gives this Offensive staff far too much latitude to suck.
How many times did we run misdirection for a loss last night?

(Look, how embarrassed should you be when it's reported that your Off.Coaching staff had to undertake a study to find out that most teams throw to the RB more than you do...and then you fail to utilize it.)

I get the not wanting to change the playbook but I'm still not thinking Callahan is the guy. I don't know who is.

    We've had this discussion before.
