Now that the Jets signed him what are you going to do now? It's hitting me even harder than I thought it would. I'm someone who has volunteered at animal shelters and I get very emotional about animal cruelty. I would love to be like I'm not going to root for the team that I have loved my whole life but I don't know how realistic that is. I don't know what recourse I have. I made this post for like-minded people. Don't want to be argumentative. So if you aren't someone who is battling a crisis of conscience over this then please stay out.

boo hoo.. THe man spent time and jail and his career was in jeopardy. He since then became a way better person and i think everyone can agree with that. Philly LOVED Vick i live here so i know. Its old now, the past is the past, move on. Vick already sent a tweet thanking the jets fans for support and another oppurtunity and being able to look pass his past actions. Let em live man he's not here to harm animals he's here to try and help win football games.

Look man, I respect that you are having problems with this signing. But as several have said, Vick has done his time. He's a changed man. I believe in redemption. If you can't allow forgiveness in heart, you will forever be stuck.
i'd guess around 50% of Jet fans did not want to see this signing. It may be due to personal reasons, football reasons, or the negativity of the inevitable media firestorm (or all 3). What you do is root for Geno to win the job outright, and for Vick to never see the field. That is whats best for the future of the Jets anyway, and will quiet down some of the media firestorm. although first game he fucks up, the fans and media will be all over the speculation of benching... it was a poor decision for the team in my opinion. just need to ride it out i guess. i doubt he's back next season, making it all kind of pointless (a la Tebow).
Forgiveness is easy when it comes to improving your favorite football team. People are all full of it then.
