Yeah its only week 7 but i think all of us got a pretty good idea of what positions need improvement and where we are going to be at standings wise at the end of the season.
Though id love to get Adrian Peterson next year we probably arent going to get him because of how good we are doing this year.I think until leon washington proves he could be true # 1 and not just a change of pace back we should get a rb with the 1st pick, if not lynch or peterson, get woodley. After round 1 we should only adress defence until day 2, but if no good prospects are available draft an tackle.

    1a.Marshawn Lynch RB 1b.Lamarr Woodley 3-4 OLB
    2a.1.Alan Branch 3-4 DT 2b.1.Frank Okam 3-4 DE
    2a.2.Brandon Meriweather S 2b.2.Lawerence Jackson 3-4 OLB
    3a.Quentin Groves 3-4 OLB 3b.Levi Brown T

First Round Selection: Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
    - With maybe lynch being avaiable i dont really feel the need for him anymore with the steady progress washington is making. nose tackle is a huge need and branch is definelty the guy to tie up blockers for vilma -

Second Round Selection VIA Washington: Victor Abiamiri, DE/OLB, ND
    - These two guys alone can change our defense into the run stuffing squad. this kid gives us size and speed not only in a 3, but standing up also. front seven would look something like- ellis, branch, robertson. thomas, barton, vilma, abiamiri.= i like

Second Round Selection: Joe Staley, OT, Central Michigan
    - Honestly i dont know to much about him. im hoping hes a right tackle or at least has the ability to switch to it since we already have brick. good size, good feet and more youth to our line, taking over clements who hasnt been doing to hot - EDIT: I see some mocks have jake long going around so he would most likely be the OT pick if he was availabe.

Third Round Selection: Brian Leonard, RB, Rutgers - huge steal imo in the third. one of our weaknesses is run blocking. from the games i have seen, leonard always has a couple nasty blocks on linebackers. great athleticsm could be a tb at the next level imo. can run, block, cacth and has a great work ethic and attitude. a mangini guy. right now hes blocking for ray rice, who is pretty similar to leon washington. perfect fit for him here -

No this is the perfect day one.

Can you imagine Tangini showing Brandon Meriweather the game film of the Miami vs Florida International game and have him explain his kicking technique during the brawl?

I dont know why we need to draft a running back. We have so many already including the young talent of houston and washington. If we drafted another running back what are we supposed to do? Drop three of the others?

A 'Perfect' first day would require some luck, and IMO it would go something like this:

    1 - Woodley, OLB, Michigan
2a - Levi Brown, RT, PSU
2b - Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
    3 - Eric Weddle, CB/FS, Utah

I think that is within the realm of reality (OT's dropped last year, maybe they will this year too, Carriker is having a down-year, and people may think Weddle doesn't have a position) but projecting anything now is somewhat of a waste of time. Good thing I like to waste time.
