The Ravens could quite possibly be the best team in the NFL this year. Their offense is incredible and they have a Top 3 defense. I think people will realize how good their offense is in the upcoming weeks when they beat teams 38-10 and other scores like that.

The Jets played toe to toe with them the entire game, obviously outplayed them in the first half, but with time of possession and unfortunate Jets mistakes/penalties, trailed by 1 at the break.

Remember last year when the Jets held the Texans to 7 points Week 1 and then the Texans D exploded Week 2 and the rest of the season. The Jets offense could not have been coached worse or plays executed more poorly. Now is not the time to think that the sky is falling. The Jets are still a top team in the NFL. They made all those mental errors and only lost by 1 point.

Now they have another tough challenge with the New England Patriots. They will play them tough no matter what. People (and the media) are taking Week 1 games way too seriously. I know Power Rankings are not important, but they keep dropping the Jets big and raising teams like the Giants. That makes no sense. Obviously the Jets would CRUSH the Panthers and Ravens would blow out the Giants if the opponents had been flipped.

Basically, everyone needs to calm down. The Jets are a very talented team and will show it very soon, but also the Baltimore Ravens are a great team and will show that also very soon. They are not a 10 point offense. They are a 30+point offense.

Incredible offense scored 10 points. Would have been 6 had we not had 400 penalties.

Would have been 3 if Greene remembered how to hold onto the god damn football.

Power ratings can drop us below the rams and buccs for all I give a shit.

We will make the playoffs whether its via the number 1 or number 6 seed. And I would love nothing more than to see us go into the Colts and Ravens houses in the playoffs and send them packing.

I couldnt agree more with you 2K10, I definantly was not happy with what I saw last night, but I believe we witnessed 2 top tier teams battling it out last night. I think that is going to be the AFC championship match up this year.

Even with all the stupid mistakes, we lost by 1 point. Imagine when this team is clicking on all cylinders and plays a clean game.

This season is a marathon not a sprint, everyone relax, sit back and enjoy the ride.

The Ravens MAY have a great offense this year. I'm not going to assume they will just yet.

Yeah, thats point. People are overreacting big time. The penalties hurt the team, but think about Kyle Wilson for a sec. The Ravens drive down the field. Cromartie picks off Flacco at the goal line. Then Greene fumbles and the D is right back on the field. No doubt the kid was gassed. It was his first start. Things just went the wrong way for the Jets. You could say bad luck or bad play by the offense, but its annoying to see people thinking the Jets are bad or something.

    Exactly.

I just want better playcalling and the handcuffs taken off Sanchez. Still 15 more games to go guys no one said we'd be undefeated.

Saints / Colts = Incredible offense

Ravens?... ehh .. no.. not really. QB isn't good enough to be an incredible offense, maybe at some point, but not now.

They have a top 3 RB and top 5 WR on the team. And their defense is one of the best in the league. We kicked our own ass last night, and still only lost by one point. Bring on the Patriots.

They were top 10 last year, while lacking the recieving weapons they now have, and Flacco and Rice only should of gotten better.

Id say theyre basically a lock to be top 7 offenses, and have a good shot @ top 5 right after the Colts/Saints/Packers

Easy easy it's only week ONE. Ole fatso better take the reins off of Sanchez if they expect to go anywhere. They may have played the best defensive team in the league so possibly the game plan was to make sure that Sanchez screw up. He didn't but a lot of dumb penalties cost them the game.

Get off your high horse already.

People are reacting as they should after a putrid performance by the offense. Whether its the playcalling or the players, it was inexcusable.

I still cling to hope that what we saw was an aberration, so we'll see this Sunday whether or not fans truly overreacted.

Sure, but its a passing league.. to call an offense INCREDIBLE, by definition their output would have to defy credibility... the Ravens? ... come on... Can you really compare the Ravens offense with Colts, Saints and I could even throw the Texans in there .. Those are high scoring offenses.

Wait till we work out the mental error/chemistry kinks and get Santonio. This team will rake. They need a statement game this weekend to get it started.

The Ravens defense had something to do with what happened. Of course, a better gameplan by schotty would have resulted in a win. I think they'll look ALOT better against less stout defenses for sure. And that is usually enough when your defense is elite.

I was thinking something similar... EVERYTHING that could go wrong went wrong yesterday... and yet we lost by 1 point to the Ravens!

    That's good!

Top 3 defense? no edward reed? no foxworth? 2 shots downfield, sanchez hits keller for one and then they dont try it anymore?

blame schitty, the excuse for an offensive play caller
