I usually have 5 mock drafts completed by this time of year, but this offseason I waited as long as I oculd before I attempted a mock.

Let me know what you think.

I don't think Atlanta takes Matt Ryan IMO, but you never know.

I would be very happy with Vernon Gholston..

I still don't like Brian Brohm that early on in the draft. He's in the same class as Henne and Flacco IMO. Matt Ryan's intangables put him in the class above.

I like Phillip Merling going to Arizona. He can project as a 3-4 DE, 4-3 DE, 4-3 DT or maybe even a 3-4 OLB... His versatility will fit their hybird defense very well.

Quentin Groves is a great pick for Minnesota, but he'll play DE there.

Harvey is a DE in the Philly. But Trent Cole is one good starter. Juqua Thomas is the other and Victor Abiamiri was drafted in the 2nd round last season. They could use a CB, S, OT or WR before a DE. And there are great values still left at those positions as well.

Jonathan Stewart and Marion Barber are both power RBs. A good complement for a power guy like Barber would be a speedy RB such as Chris Johnson or Felxi Jones. Those two power backs could work, but I'd like a speed guy there.

Green Bay doesn't need a DT. They just took Justin Harrell in the 1st last season and even though they lost Corey Williams, they still have a great starter in Ryan Pickett and great depth with Johnny Jolly and Colin Cole. They might have even picked up a free agent. They are in dire need of youth at CB, a FS and youth at OT. Bad choice there.

I like Cliff Avril going earlier than most fit in this draft, but he projects better as a 3-4 OLB. The Giants would be better off with Dan Connor or Jerod Mayo.

Minus a couple of head-scratchers, this was a good mock.
