Nice throw into triple coverage. Honestly, if Penny can't make super decision, he's worthless as a QB

Ahh yes one bad game out of 5 games and were ready to start attacking a guy whos coming off two rotator cuff surgeries and has no running game what so ever to work with.

    Brillant thread idea.

    Horrible thread.

Jacksonville has been owning the Jets all day.

    Not Pennington's fault.

    Nowhere to throw the ball.

Down, 31-0 (Now 38-0) he had to force it and try something.

I'm sure you were kissing his ass the last few weeks when he was kicking ass. Fair weather fan. Get real....

One bad game? Do you watch the games or just check the stat lines? Much of Pennington's success this season has had to do with the WRs and Hbs (leon) making big plays. What does rotator cuff surgery have to do with his head? Why is he throwing into triple coverage? That pass on 3rd down that was picked, intended for Smith...same thing. Take off the green goggles when you watch the jets game

Maybe he's forcing the ball cause the game is uhhhh A BLOW OUT. That's when the bad decisuionshappen. If you really want to tear someone a new asshole call out the coaching staff or the defense.

The only positive things I've said about Pennington was how strong his arm has looked. I've always maintained that he's an overrated decision maker. If you actually think for yourself instead of relishing in the fact that our QB was a Rhodes Scholar finalist, you'll realize he is HIGHLY overrated as a decision maker.

Big freaking whoop... WHen your starting Rbs are Blaylock and Barlow you become predictable and your bound to get picked off at times. Hes behind a yougn and inexperienced line too, but I guess none of this matters to you.

Its one bad game, your acting like the world is falling apart. I dont care how he gets the yards, when I see the end of the game I see Pennington has had a nice day of passing yds.

If The defense is sitting in a zone, why throw to the part of the field where there are 3 guys huddling around? Force it in somewhere else, not a fucking 8 yard pass down the middle in between 50 defenders.

I'm not calling the plays. All I know is Chad knows the score and he's forcing the ball to make the play. The question should be is why aren't the Jets going down the field. Ask the coaching staff that.

Not to mention our running game is horrible.

Bottom line. This game hardly falls on Pennington. 3 picks. 2 his fault.

    Chad doesn't play defense folks.

Damn, I realized the day would come when these threads would start coming back, but not so damn soon. Seriously, it's a bad loss, it's not his fault. Once again, they came out asleep in the 1st quarter.

Eh, part of the reason we're in a hole is that Pennington played badly from the very start. Refs have been killing us too. This is a disheartening performance, I'm very shaky on Pennington against good defenses. I was hoping today he'd be able to dispel my doubts, but he's just raising those doubts. Well, when Chad did well the past few weeks, the fair weather fans were criticizing all of us for doubting him, and now tha the has a bad game, you kind of expect the doubters to voice their opinions. I personally don't really say anything either way, because I know how things change week to week. I want to see threads supporting Chad from the same people that made them weeks ago, but chances are they will just be invisible for awhile.

Do you people not read? Where did I say the loss is Pennington's fault? All I'm doing is pointing out that Chad is overrated as a decision maker. Never said anything about him causing our problems, him being the cause for our defensive problems, or him causing this loss. Make sure you read, before you bitch other posters oout.

ANd Im saying to you that he doesnt have much to work with, he doesnt have much time to think with a inexperienced line and his RBs cant do shit so hes forced to throw every down or take a sack. And the predictablity comes in when your throwing all the time and that the Jags respond by stacking the backfield up, which causes more picks.

And who besides the Chad fans on the board, even rate Pennington or give him props?
