    As per Dick:

Would love to see him become part of the offensive coaching staff at some point... great mind, great QB... could really help develop Mark, IMO.

I like it a lot. I mean he has the highest completion % in the history of the league, so who could be better for Sanchez and Tebow, lmao.

    Son of a bitch...

Idk if he is a "Sparano expert" though. I think he is more of a Dan Henning expert

I don't know either, but I'm sure Sparano and the Jets do, and I'm sure they brought him in for good reason. I also don't think it's any coincidence that Sanchez spent time with Pennington in the offseason and came into mini-camp having the offense down cold.

I am amazed it was only 4 years ago we let him go after the Favre trade. It seems like it was mch longer than 4 years. It's nice to hear that he is back even for just a day.

He'd also make a great analyst. I've heard him on the radio and during broadcasts and he's more articulate and insightful than any of the former players that espn hands a job.

He'll have a good future as a coach somewhere should he want it. Always straight class. It's probably more of just an ambassador trip than anything. I can't imagine in one day he'll be making any groundbreaking suggestions to the QBs but cool to have him back.

Chad methodically deconstructing the Colts in the playoffs is still the most dominating performance from a Jets' player I've ever seen (with Keyshawn shitting on the Jaguars in the offs a close second.)

10 years ago it seemed like our future was going to be great with Pennington & Coles on the field, now they're both working for the Jets off the field. Things change so quickly in the NFL.

Junc you are right, it does seem alot longer than 4 years ago. I also agree it is nice to hear that he came back to help out.

Gotta love Chad Pennington. I really wish he would get a coaching position to help out with our offense. The guy could be a great OC or QB coach one day.

I always thought Pennington would be a great NFL coach. He had some nice moments for the Jets. He will land a job with some team if thats what he wants to do guaranteed.

Pennington probably would still be our qb if things were different smh.
