This game is gonna be interesting. I would love to see the Mets win here, especially with the lineup they have now. Also, if you were at the game, would you boo Pedro???

I probably wouldn't boo him because he was one of my favorites before he was a Met. Even though he played for the Mets he will go into the Hall as a member of the Red Sox and will always in everybody's mind be a Boston guy. It's not like he is Benedict Damon and left a team in which he was adored to joining the enemy and sell out. There were alot of teams that could have signed him and he didn't sign until last month. It's not like he said I'm gonna sign with the Phils because the Mets lowballed me and I'm gonna stick it to them. He is only playing because the Phils were the only ones that wanted him.....

Did Pedro have a memorable enough stint with the Mets to even warrant any abnormal reaction?

Someone should have dumped a beer on Victorino. I guess he's wall-shy since Wrigley. :)

The booing is of course for Perez, not Pedro. As Rich pointed out, it's not like Pedro did anything for anyone to be angry about - he wanted to play, and he found a team who would take him. Having said that, I still find the Phils' decision to put him in the rotation surprising - Moyer's ERA in July and August is 3.72, and Pedro has hardly hit the ground running so far (5.40 ERA in a very small sample).

12th unassisted triple play in regular season MLB history.

It was the only pitch I saw all day. I listened to the top of the first on the radio at work before I put music on. I got home and my family was watching TV. I'm like, there are runners on 1st and 2nd and they're down by 2 and it's the last inning, can you put it on quick? Bam, first pitch, unassisted triple play. Dear lord.

After the game, Mr. Met walked to the mound and attempted to shoot himself in the head with his t-shirt air rifle...

...but the blast just knocked him over.

    Has anybody found Benigno yet?

There is no curse. There is only a horrible management team behind a horrible product.

Did anybody else catch the post-game show on SNY? Born-Again Christian Jeff Francoeur, who hit into the Unassisted TP after successfully arguing a caught ball in the outfield, just gave a "sh*t" and "f*ck" laced interview after the game! Don't worry, Jeff, Jesus still loves you. As for the rest of the Mets...:)

I..can't believe it. My friend had tickets and asked me to come, but I couldn't.

New ways to lose. Simply amazing.

What I would have given to see that.... by the way you can say shit and fuck in here. Especially if the Mets are involved.

I don't boo but if I did I'd boo Pedro but Met fans have to realize he did want to come back. He wasn't good for the Mets and the Mets wasted alot of money but he did bring some excitment back to the team so it wasn't all bad.

What's a worse way to lose? Unassisted triple play or dropped pop up?
