The Lions are an awfully dirty squad themselves. As much as I hate the Pats, no sympathy here.

BFD. That shit goes on in almost every scrum.

    Non-issue.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. If they win the game you don't even hear about this.

The question everyone should be asking themselves is why would an opposing defense want Shaun Hill injured/out of the game?

The pats are so addicted to cheating that they if they don't each and every week they will go into withdrawals.

And if it was true...Why didn't he go to Suh, and ask him to.....rectify the situation.

This story will go largely uncovered and unnoticed. If it were Brady who made the accusation it would be a huge story all week, and probably induce an FBI investigation.

Remember watching Drew Stanton try to play football against us? The Pats were hoping to see that too.

so a QB tries to run the ball straight up the middle of a defense, and ends up getting roughed up in a scrum...

    boo hoo :-(

seriously, why is this story even getting as much attention as it already has?

Probably because a team with a history of taking any means necessary ( no matter how dirty and illegal ) is accused of cheating it should be taking very serious.

    a) you make it sound like the pats have a history of going all Ray Lewis and murdering people

    b) agreed, when ANY team gets accused of cheating it should be taken seriously

    c) roughing a ball carrier at the bottom of a pile isn't cheating, it is something that every player on every team does, and is taught to do, because it demoralizes the other team and forces turnovers... just ask any nfl running back what it is like at the bottom of a scrum

    d) to all the people who claim that this story would be completely different had it been Brady:

believe me, opponents have been taking cheap shots at brady at every opportunity since the "tuck rule" incident (even more so since his injury)... so where are all of these major news stories that you are talking about? Yes he will try to get a flag when he can, but Brady doesn't complain like Hill post-game trying to make headlines and get sympathy.

    A) Ray Lewis didn't kill anyone on the field.

    B) I understand players get shots in on the bottom of the pile but they usually hurt others in a matter that won't sideline them at all.

    C) The tuck rule was bullshit and will always taint Brady but not as bad as filming another teams sidelines to gain advantage on play calling, the Patriots are a bunch of cheating bastards. Also ESPN gobble on Brady's dick more than any other player I have ever seen. Don't act like they kiss his ass like he's the second coming.

Wah fuckin Wah! A player under the pile was trying to rip the ball out of his hands... I'm sure that almost never happens.

I think somebody missed the point..perhaps your lack of intelligence got in the way. What this man was trying to point out is the hypocrisy in the NFL. If a beloved player (Brady) had made these claims people (especially ESPN) would have round the clock news about it and Goodell would launch a major investigation into the claim.
