THIS I would be scared of. Brady has been great w/o great WRs and to being in a talent like Moss would be very scary. You know he'd come in w/ something to prove and all the pressure wouldn't be on him so he'd thrive w/ Brady.

They do have 2 #1 picks so I can see this actually happening.

    The Patriots are owning us...again.

How many more years of this do we have to take?

they are making their last push for a championship...i can only guess. I can't remember them being this active in the F.A. Makes me think Belichick is making his last stand.

Getting Moss would be only the 2nd good move NE has made this offseason(the 1st being Kyle Brady).

I could almost see this coming. The thing is, NE is in a position to pull off things like this. I don't see how people should say that we can be this agressive considering the core of our team is still in the process of being developed. NE already has that and they're putting on finishing touches.

What is Belichick/Kraft just wanting to make one huge run in 07?

    Jeez.

Am I only one that thinks Randy Moss is completely washed up? I hope the Pats get him - it will be proof that NO coach can through to him.

Yes its just to you, take into consideration how awful the qb's were on the raiders and the o line, then youd understand. But make no mistake if randy moss does make it to the pats, then watch how often teams double and triple team him like the old days.

Year 2 of rebuilding vs. year 6 of a dynasty.

    Get over it.

    I'd welcome this trade.

The Pats are playing it absurd this offseason. I can only assume that Belichick is considering getting out and he's going to break the bank to try and win one more. This is completely nonsensical. Brady showed that he could get it done with a mediocre receiver group. A guy like Antonio Bryant might be more sensible, and if he buys in, he will upgrade their receiver group sufficiently. Moss is a cancer that could ruin the perfect system they have going there. This move reeks of hubris.

Without a doubt in my mind, the impetus for this trade is Tom Brady's baby. Let's face it, this metrosexual's kid is gonna be high maintenance. another Super Bowl run would pay off nicely for more endorsements to pay for baby food, child support, etc...

He's not as fast or as explosive as he used to be,but he's still got the physical presence and athletic ability. He's still a good player.

    Pats after Randy Moss

Now if this happens our secondary is in big time trouble I personnally think. The only way we would be able to combat that strategy is to draft or sign a tall cb. We need to start making some splashes in the FA war thats going on right now. I think were being a little to conservative...

Let me know what yall think and what would be the best solution if this were to happen.

I have on sports radio eei in Boston. I am at my brothers place in this stupid city. They are all saying that Randy Moss "will not be coming here". Adam Shefter said the same thing. I hope this is not true.

I guess Oakland is looking for way to much.
