I'd take him back as the #2 TE that he is :)

    I'm sure he won't.

Absolutely, he'd be a perfect backup to Keller.

I would, too. He can still block. I think having Keller, Baker and Hartsock (if he's still under contract) would be a pretty well-rounded TE unit.

    I would too.

I think it's possible. He'll go where the money is. Plus, after his little stunt last year, I'm convinced the word "shame" is absent from his vocabulary.

Reminds me of Victor Hobson signing with the Pats...remember him?

Anyway, I agree, Baker is a perfect fit behind Keller, that would mean the end of Hartsock though.

He had a decent year for the Pats, IMO. Mostly blocking, but that's what they got him for.

Does Baker now know his role or does he still believe he is an upper echelon TE? Looks as if he will have to swallow some pride to take a secondary contract. I, for one, would take him back as a second TE. He would be an upgrade.

Heartstock is already a UFA unless we offer him a contract fast.

Baker would be a good fit, but I'm not sure if the Jets are willing to cross that bridge again.

Good. Baker > than Hartsock by a wide margin.

Would Baker listen to the Jets' offer?

  18. I think he'd be a good acquisition. He'd likely come cheap and would provide some much needed depth at TE behind keller.
