He's now looking to trade his superstar player because he realizes he can not win without Brady.

Free agency is not the solution for the Jets. You have it all wrong here.

Let us look at Belichick for a moment here. You realize your team is going nowhere, so you trade Gilmore to get more draft choices or fill an important need. Maybe the Jets can learn from this?

Gilmore has 1 year left on his deal. If he were to go to the Jets, he would require more money because you are the Jets anyway.

There are many teams in desperate need of a Probowl CB to make it to the final game. These teams will be leaning to give more for just 1 1/2 year of service from Gilmore.

These teams would be the following to consider:

The Saints who may be desperate since Brees's short window. Hence my #1 team.

Titans look good because they do have draft picks. However, paying Gilmore this year and next would create a mild financial cap migraine.

The Bucs who under Brady are willing to mortgage the farm for a Super Bowl? If this happens how sick will this be? Is Belichick willing to ignore his ego to help Tom win a SB? probably not.

Then there is the sick idea of Miami who might be crazy enough to give NE their Texans pick.

Seahawks but unfortunately only have a second, fourth, and fifth-round selection in 2021.

I am probably missing the real team that wants him.

We don't want no freaking "Gilmore". Jet fans, we know about greatness @ the CB position. We witnessed our team draft and develop the greatest coverage CB of All-Time in #24 Darrelle Revis and also know exact what happens to CBs once they hit 30 years old. So don't think for a second that you can preach to us about the CB position. Because you can't.
