Time flies. Weren't people just talking about how amazing the Patriots offense was back in September?
13: Indy 14: Redskins 15: Broncos 16: Dolphins Expect some rape age there. What a great way to end the season....4 garbage games and the Jills at home in Week 17....
Not surprising though. Starting with the game against the Jets, the Patriots started making more of a concerted effort to run the ball. That worked for a bit, but they got behind quickly against the Steelers and the offense went three-and-out after a long, sustained drive by Pittsburgh to open the game. Defenses usually figure things out. Passing yards league-wide seem like they've dropped off after an incredibly productive first few weeks. It's the Patriots' defense that's their glaring weakness, as everyone knows... if they keep playing this way the team will not go far in the playoffs, assuming they even get there. Roethlisberger tore them to shreds on Sunday, and they're making opposing QBs look like world-beaters.
