Pat Hill & Kirk Ferentz

    why havnt these guys been looked at for coordinator or head coaching jobs in the nfl. The reason i brought this up is beecause this past week charlie weis has been called by two nfl teams regarding next years availability. If teams want to extract coaches from the college ranks hill and ferentz are well qualified canidates IMO.

    BTW- If Hill and Ferentz were asked to be coaches in the nfl and declined, im sorry for posting this but i have no knowledge that they did.

    I'm not too sure about Hill, but I know Ferentz is always on a team's wishlist, but he doesn't want to leave Iowa.

    The Raiders went after Hill before they decided on Shell. These guys are asked to coach an NFL team every year.

    With the way Fresno's playing this year, Pat Hill should have taken the money when he had the chance.

    Hill interviewed for the raiders, and declined.

    Ferentz has declined many times.

    NEITHER would even consider coming to the NFL as a coordinator.

    Hill's stock is definitely down after this year, though...
