Baltimore defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu reached an agreement with Carolina -- 5 years, $23 million, with $8 million of it guaranteed. Worst run defense in 06, here we come!
Panthers | Team agrees to terms with Kemoeatu Sat, 11 Mar 2006 11:38:38 -0800 Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald, reports the Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms with free agent DT Ma'ake Kemoeatu (Ravens). The 6-foot-5, 350-pounder agreed in principle to a five-year, $23 million deal, one which will likely be signed early next week. If a mod can merge or delete my thread...thanks
I mentioned it would be lucky if he last that long. A big knock on him was his motivation. At times I saw him play and thought he was an unblockable beast and others he was benched b/c he wasnt playing with fire
No way we will be the worst run defense in 06. Why even say that? You think signing him would make a huge difference? I don't.
We damn near have a great defense... Remember our 9th ranking prior to the season... All we really need is a Blob at NT to realize that with a 4-3. (with abe) Considering the personell we have that is the way to go...I mean D-rob is the major roadblock for the 3-4 He is too slow for the DE and too small for the NT...what can we get for his ass?
I dont get what Dewayne robertson can play nose tackle if he just puts on ten pounds. he would be 327 and he has taken on many double teams in the past.
i dont think dewayne putting on anymore waeght is a good idea. he has bad knees and more weight is just going to accelerate the speed at which he is worn down.
