looks like we wont have to deal with him in a few weeks. Rodgers and Mathews look like they will be ready though ...

How long until Matthews gets busted for juicing?

Finley is a beast. He's the best TE in the game right now IMO.

Imagine how bad he would have made the Dolphins defense look next week. They can't stop any tight end.

Finley is faster and has hands at least as good as Gates. Gates may have him on route running by a little but I'll take Finley at this point in their careers.

I don't know how you could say it's not close.

People were pretty speechless yesterday. Once again the Packers seemed to kill themselves, but this time it was with injuries too.

My friends are already starting to get short tempered with McCarthy. Next week is huge...not only because I wanna see my hometeam do well, but because I have Rodgers on my fantasy team, and of course...it's fucking Miami.. ugh

because its not close, the only thing finley has on gates is speed

gates is the #1 player game planned for when teams play the chargers and he still puts in work. finley is what, option 2, maybe 3?

finley is great, so are few other TEs (keller included) ... but none of them are as close to as good as gates

idk there are still some great TE's in the league right now. Finley is certainly in the conversation, but is he the best? I'm not sure its so clear cut.

    Gates
    Finley
Davis if he has solid QB play like last year, you can see what he can do
Gonzales is no slouch at this point
Clark still what makes the Colts offense click (outside of manning of course)
Keller He isnt the best, but he is playing for the right to be mentioned in the conversation

Put Gates on the Packers and you could say the same thing about what # option he is. That says more about the surrounding cast than the player himself.

I'd say the only thing Gates has on Finley is a slight edge in route running. Have you watched Finley play?

I never said it was clear cut. I said he's the best IMO. Sanchise is the one trying to make an argument about someone being the best "and it's not close".

I can see why people would chose another TE as the best right now, but to single out one and say it's not close seems silly to me.

Finley is pretty damn good... sometimes what is separating one guy from being better than another is the team he's on. If I had to round out what I thought was the top TE in the game I would list them as Gates, Clark, Finley, Gonzalez...

agreed. Personally if I am taking a TE to pick to build into a team, I want either Finley or Keller.

Both are young, and proving they will be studs in the league for a long time. Can't ask for much more than that. Personally I think Keller will end up the better player over the course of their careers, but that might be due to my Jets bias....

From what I've seen of Finley he's much better than Keller, and I like Keller.

Finley's on my fantasy team, so I'm pretty ticked. Im guessing he'll be back after the Packers' week 10 bye.

finley is good, but gates is uncoverable. didnt he just set the record for consecutive games with a TD for TEs?

see thats part of my point, i think gates is still option #1 on the pack. when v-jax was on SD, gates was still option #1 ... he creates mismatches for himself and everyone else on the field

and i love finley, have him on 2/3 of my fantasy teams. i was up on him last year before a lot of people were

but i think gates is in a class by himself ... hes been playing out of his mind the past few years and doesnt look like hes slowing down anytime soon
