i know people are going to say i am a fake fan but my dad wanted to leave after the pick and so we left hoping to beat some traffic (not my decision)... we got outside and by dad stormed off ahead of us disgusted at the poor showing... he wound up in the cattle shoot and was far ahead of us... my mom and i stopped outside the virizon gate to watch the last drive... there were a few thousand fans outside the gate watching on the video boards... the video was delayed by about 2 seconds so we heard braylons catch and then saw it... at that point more fans gathered and everyone stopped to watch on the boards... when santonio caught the td (we knew a td was coming because of the crowd reaction) the place erupted... im talking absolute bedlam... i wound up in a bear hug with seven guys i had never seen before... strangers were hugging and people were falling to the ground... it was one of the most amazing scenes i had ever seen... i will never forget that game it was awesome and anyone else who was standing outside watching on the video boards knows what i am talking about.
Knicks get blown out by 40 and I stay till the final buzzer Get the most out of your overpriced seats. And throw batteries at people
His dad forced him out. He stayed and watched on the video boards outside. Never left the gates. He is still a Jets fan.
were you at the game... if you were and stayed till the end kudos to you... if you werent and were watching at home stfu... my family has an 1:30 drive home and my dad wanted to try and beet the traffic... i wanted to stay but my dad told us to leave... watching that last drive outside the stadium was a great experience and a story that i will tell for a long time.
Monday Night Miracle was far better, especially if you were inside instead of outside. There were no TV screens outside in those days. People went to their cars and turned on the radio after they heard the noise, and of course, security was not letting them back through the turnstyles. I watched the whole thing from Row 1 in the Mezz because the assholes that were there were out in the parking lot. We fucking mocked the hell out of those people. And another major difference is... back then, nobody would admit that they had left. At least you had the courage to admit it here for this game. Most will not. "Oh yeah, I stayed 'till the end on that one, dude. It was awesome." Yeah... right.
If he really cared about the team he would have slapped some sense into his old man, or broken his hip and made him stay.
again were you there and did you stay till the end... my dad said we were leaving so we left... unlike him i stayed and watched on the video screens... he walked through the cattle shoot and missed a great moment.
Cmon guys it's a time for celebration.... whether you were home, at the game, standing outside the stadium or banging a dirty hooker in the back of the IZOD center. You will remember this day for a long time.
I was sat on my ass in the UK bitching about the team and watching lagged out delayed streams - so it all sounds good to me
when my dad has the keys to the car and he says were leaving we leave... it wasnt my choice but its what i had to do
Didnt want to start a thready, but could someone let me know what happened? I sat down to watch the stream, then at 1 got a water damage emergency job and had to leave. All i saw was the 1st FG. then i stopped home to get more equipment and it was 20-7 i think, end of 3rd? had to leave again, figured we had it in the bag. ?
"I was in a 7 person group hug" Did 6 of you leave the group hug no longer in possession of your wallets ???? PS Never, EVER, let Dad forget how he walked out on one of the Jets greatest comebacks in one of their best years since a guy named Joe played QB (even though it worked out for you personally!) HAHAHAHA
