Raiders--Carr to Cooper for the next 10 years could be stellar Rams- Still so surprised Gurley went that high but on that indoor track, he could be an immediate impact guy Vikes--surprised they passed on Parker given his history with teddy but Waynes is going to be a great player for them. Steelers--watch this raw super talent become a long time defensive star for Pitt--it just seems to happen for them Colts--pick of the day--I didn't think Dorsett would go round 1 but what a team to go to _
Chargers - Gordon will be their own Jamal Charles Ravens - Perriman - Something tells me this could be a steal for them
I actually liked the shane ray pick for denver. Let him learn fron D ware this year. Hin and von miller could be a scary duo for a while
Raiders- great pick passing up "BPA" to get Cooper Bears - Awesome pick will be a great addition Browns - great value at 12 Broncos - very risky but the rich get richer could've fell to their pick though Ravens - great value pick Redskins- think they could've traded down with the Bears or Falcons and wish they would have. Makes me think they really thought Shereff was our pick, had to assume the Bears were worried we were taking white Rams - great player but at 10?? Chargers - will Gordon pay off? Bills - gave up a first this year to move up for Sammy last year lol F minus grade
My future son-in-law is a diehard Colts fan and his fear is that this signals they aren't going to sign Hilton. Kind of like the Mo issue for us. _
Ah, I see. But when if I'm Luck I'm saying "alright I'll make due with whatever you give me, just stop giving up so many points when I'm on the sidelines." If he's this good he doesn't need this ridiculous wr corps.
Eagles fans have to be bummed today. Miss out on MM only to select a Maclin clone. Matthews could become a stud but that WR corp is looking pretty average these days. Chip has his work cut out for him.
Doubt it. Their drafts recently have been pretty bad, actually... Big Ben and Bell are what are keeping them afloat nowadays. Don't get me wrong, Martavis Bryant was highway robbery (I'm sure some of you remember me saying 1st or 2nd round for him ad nauseum last year -- I can be pretty insufferable at times) but a lot of their other crap has been crap. Jarvis Jones - bust. Mike Adams - bust. DeCastro - overrated. Shazier - early returns not good. I think Bud is on his way to being a Budst as well. JMO.
I think the opposite. My favorite thing about yesterday's draft, while I think my Browns definitely could have done better, is that we are the only team in the division that didn't draft someone I think will end up a bust as a 1st rounder. Ogbueghi was probably the best pick of the other three team in the AFCN and he's shaky in pass protection with an injury history. How you take him over Fisher if you want to go OT is beyond me. JMO again.
I think Washington was stupid for passing on Williams for Scherff or any right tackle. I agree they needed a right tackle, but come on. You have Pork Chop on a one year deal and you paid too much money to Stephen Paea, who they will eventually realize is a "better" fit for the nose in the 3-4, and you pass who most people call the best player in the draft? For a questionable right tackle? Total "punt" of a pick to me, I don't understand it at all. Atlanta drafts a 245 pound linebacker to play 4-3 defensive end at the same time that New Orleans commits to becoming a running team with tons of cash for Ingram and Spiller. Already have Carolina in that division. Total WTF moment for me. The Saints have two startable OTs and they take Peat? Why? So many big-time needs on this team. How do you think the Bills feel right now, lol. EVERY OTHER TEAM in the division had a player that they had no business sniffing fall right into their laps. Wow. Jets take Leonard Williams (which... well... you guys can discuss that), Dolphins get DeVante Parker, Pats get Malcom Brown? Are you kidding me? Total nightmare for your upstate friends. Texans drafted a corner. A draftnik on reddit who is a Texans fan was criticizing every mock for the Texans that had a corner in ANY round, and they took one in the first round, lol. Panthers. Man. How do you let this happen again? How do you not get a left tackle? Then you take a player at a position where you have someone in Pro Bowl conversation? I mean... how does this even happen? Fisher is staring you in the face, and you take Shaq freakin' Thompson. Cowboys hahhaHAHAhaahahahahhahahahahha drafting Robocop as your cornerback. Packers thought "Hey, we drafted a free safety in the first round last year and it worked out pretty well... let's do it again!" (admittedly, I don't know much about their scheme, so maybe they play interchangeable safeties.) Bengals, Steelers, Ravens... stupid, stupid, stupid. The rest of the picks I thought were pretty good. Except Cordarrelle Patterson Kevin White. [/jerkwad rant]
Steelers got my boy Shazier last year and now pick up Dupree. The town is probably thinking Lambert, Ham, Russell.
I hate Pittsburgh. They draft so smart. Why don't we ever do that. They never run out of good players. They are like the Barcelona of the NFL.
Add the Giants to the list of idiot teams... Drafted a RT at 9 and now gave up 3 picks to draft Landon Collins. Should have just drafted him at 9 and drafted a RT in the second.
The Skins could've had Leonard and Fisher/Clemmings instead of Schereff and Smith. Would much rather have the former.
