    Watched sportscenter today and saw the Giants defenseman in an interview saying why are they giving him a cool nickname like RG3? He's Bob Griffin until he does something..

    don't quote that but something to that extent is what he said. LOL
    That was funny to me.

    This happened in the summer, before the season started, logic being that until RGIII did something in the NFL, he didn't earn the RGIII nickname. As soon as week 1 ended and the Redskins beat the Saints, with RGIII having a great game, Osi came out and ate crow, saying that he would stop calling him Bob Griffin and call him by the nickname.

    The only development this week was that Osi said he refers to him as Sir Robert Griffin III because he's good. So I assume you watched the part where ESPN was recapping the story.
