been a pretty weak year for offensive rookies but figured halfway through the year i'd put it up for vote and see what TGG thinks because the jets suck so not much to talk about there
The Jags just benched Minshew for Foles, so that makes Minshew much less likely to win. Foles would have to suck or get hurt again in time for Minshew to have another good few games. Josh Jacobs and Kyler Murray have to be the favorites now. Murray's second half schedule is a little more challenging than his first half was, so I'll lean Jacobs.
"Minshew Mania" was fun for awhile....... too bad he decided to play like a rookie right before the SB MVP they're paying millions to comes off IR
If the Redskins weren't an absolute mess, McLaurin would've had a good shot at it. He's had a really good first half. But everytime Haskins comes in, he's completely inept and doesn't throw McLaurin the ball. On that note with Haskins, they need to either let him play or bench him. He keeps playing like every other week when Keenum gets banged up. Give him the season or sign someone else to be the backup and redshirt him. Murray will probably get it because well QB's win all the awards. Jacobs has been great though. So has Metcalf. Jacobs has been one of the best runners in the AFC this year.
It's going to be Jacobs by a landslide, but if Minshew remained the starter I would say he had a good shot.
it amazes me how little we have used him when we need extra blocking and we are thin at TE. Daniel Brown has seen more snaps then him. I don't get it. I mean griffin winning the job over him made sense. griffin was playing great all things considered and herndon was out/suspended. how can wesco not beat out daniel brown for snaps?
