Not bad, not bad at all. Needed to win the series against our wildcard rivals and took all three. Now we get a home set vs B-More.

Mon, Aug 13 7:05 pm EDT C. Wang vs. J. Guthrie
Tue, Aug 14 7:05 pm EDT J. Karstens vs. D. Cabrera
Wed, Aug 15 1:05 pm EDT P. Hughes vs. E. Bedard

Baltimore's been a pain in the ass this year... I'd like another sweep...

I just hope we don't overlook them with Detroit waiting in the wings.

Detroit isn't half the team Baltimore is right now. We know that though after playing them recently.

Bedard has been stud-ish. I hope for 2/3 considering Bedard is pitching.

Like a lot of teams, Baltimore isn't getting a lot of offense so if we keep hitting we should be able to win at least two. Now that Giambi is back he is tearing up the ball too. I guess it's relative though.

I would love 2 of 3 since the Yankees are (3-6) vs. The Birds this year.

I am pleased with Baltimore right now though, taking 2 of 3 from Boston.

I'd love to see Hughes vs. Bedard. It could be a very good game. And that would rule, since it's the first Yankees game I'm going in like 10 years.

Great start to the series tonight. Arod has a pre-game ceremony for his 500th and NY should see Chamberlain for the first time.

Seattle gets to go against Santana tonight. Hopefully that bodes well for NY.

Very Hairy Sitcheeation goinz on here. :eek:hmy:

We started off our upcoming schedule vs teams in or around the playoff race.
    - Took 2 of 3 from the Toronto Cry babies,
    - Scalped the indians
    Coming up,
    - 4 vs Detroit
    - go to LA with NO Travel Day to play 3
    - to Detroit for another 4
    - then home against the Boston Monkey blowers.

With all that we have the O's now.
This is where the Yankees could easily have a Mental lapse like in Colorado and San Fran.

Seems they are more focused though but it could be interesting. Just an incredible stretch the Bombers are on.

    Well this doesn't sound good.

"Despite owning a 1-0 record against the Orioles this season, Chien-Ming Wang has been tagged by Baltimore in his first two starts against them this year, allowing the Birds to bat .383 -- the second-highest team batting average against the Yankees hurler."

I'm glad he's throwing on short rest. That should make him a little tired which in turn should make his sinker sink more and not stay up like it did in his last start.
