I disagree. I think besides the yellow ones they are better than what they used to have. Which isn't to say they are great. Also they are pretty similar to their old ones iwth the metal panneling and different color shoulders.
What about the ones Tim Dwight wore at Iowa in 1994? They had weird lines across the front and only lasted one season.
I do like the flames on the new Oregon gold helmets. Those 1994 Iowa jerseys were weird and the new Ducks ones are weird, but I don't think either are atrocious. I'm not saying they are good, though. The BYU bib jerseys were the ones I disliked the most. Embarrasing uniforms.
i have to disagree. ive always been a fan of the oregon uniforms. and i wish they didnt change them again because i liked the ones they just had, but these arent all that bad IMO. and they have the best field in football too
It is silly that they sold their soul to Nike, only team in the country that has 4 uniforms and 3 helmets, Silliness.
I like Oregon's colors and helmets, but they change jerseys so much they have no legacy. If they stayed with a sharp green/yellow/white jersey without all the bells and whistles like the "steel paneling" and ugly ass text and of course the all yellow ones and lets not forget...
they should stick with the white/green green/white combo with yellow trim. All yellow is just hideous. The simpler the better.
I really like those jerseys. Not for my team (though Miami's just as much of a Nike b*tch as Oregon), but they have some charm to them. That, and I loved the all yellow uniforms they used to have, no idea why. Lastly, the white helmet is wicked.
I dont think that their jerseys are really that ugly.the fact that they have so many color combinations and different schemes is something thats really hot and something i wish other teams would do including the Jets. They could just incorporate green, grey, white and black as their colors
Haha those are pretty awful, they rank right up there with the 1976 White Sox and that Blues Jersey that Mike Keenan aborted when he became coach (I'm looking for a link now.) Still, I'd rather have the Iowa one than the Ducks. It seems like they are trying to sell us on the fact that Ducks are made of Steel and Fire. Curious.
It's possible. They were used for all of the 1994 season, however- not just one game or something. (The home jerseys looked even worse than the road ones.) Whether or not they were throwbacks, I think the school would have gone forward with them, but too many fans hated those unis, so they got canned after the season.
