    Opening Day Starter? Clemens/Sanchez

    Clemens or Sanchez?
I personally think the Flacco model applies with Rex, plus I think he beats out Kellen in an "Open Competition"...
    I vote for DIRTY...

Sanchez. If we draft him and he doesn't start I will flip the fuck out.

I think Clemens will play for his life or forever be a backup.

I still vote Sanchez as the OD QB.

WEll, I tend to agree, but rihgt now we haev a very good set up for nay young QB. A very good offensive line, a strong running game and good defense.

Clemens, unless Sanchez really gets the playbook.

That's why we gave up Ratliff and not Clemens.

absolutely, but his 16 starts make him a raw prospect.

he needs to learn.. maybe not the whole year. But week 10-11?

I could easily see that. Perhaps a bit sooner if Kellen starts very slow.

I went with Sanchez because I don't know what gets accomplished if Clemens starts in September and plays well and the Jets win. Clemens will be gone after the season, so if the team starts out 3-1 and Clemens is looking real good (I'm not a huge passer rating guy, but it's got some merit, so let's say his # is 95.5 through 4 games), the team couldn't make the switch to Sanchez. In other words, if Clemens starts, you could see a Brees-Rivers situation here and I don't know that that is what would be best. I hope Sanchez plays well in camp and preseason and wins the damn job in a big way.

Think we are SD from a few years ago when they had Breese and drafted Rivers (that faggot).

Would like to see us get a good year out of KC and win on a trade.

I think both guys have a chance to win games with this OL and Coaching Staff... but I think Sanchez has a higher ceiling and will win the gig.
