Lots of views. No replies. Maybe you should post pictures of yourself in a singlet. Accidental gaydom is common in American colleges. And those guys have wifi. Like a motherfucker.

Interesting... I pressure washed and sanded my deck some years ago and sealed it...
Looked great for about 3 years but needs to be redone maybe next year..trying to avoid redoing the whole deck right now...

I am curious as well, I am getting my deck power washed next week. The guy wants $300 to wash it. Then said maybe up to $900 to stain it. I said, that 5 gallons of stain should run under $200. He said sure, but the labor. So! the whole family will be out there for as long as it takes. I usually use the Wolman F&P semi transparent stuff, looks great after, but I heard about this new stuff from the guy doing the power wash.

This shit is not cheap, they actually say NOT to power wash your deck before applying it. Just clean it with some solution and a brush. They said one gallon covers 50sq (for two coats)

I saw the video where they suggested not power washing because they would prefer you by their deck cleaner :)
My deck is filthy dirty right now, and fast decaying. I have 600sq/ft of deck, so it is going to be costly then, :(
ten years ago, I should've spent the extra $6,000 and get Trex installed. Wouldn't be in this pickle now.

It would be about $480.00 in paint to do your deck. they have a special roller for this stuff, think they were like 4 bucks each.

Then it probably makes sense to suck it up and just pay the guy $900 and save my strength and energy.

Nah, screw that... call me cheap but I'd rather buy the PW and do it myself.

Which is exactly what I did... lol

I also get to wash my car, garage, house and anything else that can be done with it :)

I hear ya, but physical labor is not my specialty, for that matter. Working isn't. So, sadly, I end up paying handymen to do any and everything. My wife came to me this morning and said the kids broke the towel rack in their bathroom, are you gonna call a guy to fix it !!

hahaha dude, Im the same way...I dont do shit. HOWEVER, Im intrigued to one day to actually try to do something. I might do this. I just had an AWESOME 600 sq ft stone patio done....obviously, I had it done by someone. Looks amazing...but I also have a screened in pirch with a deck that needs cleaning and staining.

I wonder if I can do this. How do you apply this shit? With a roller?? Cant you just spray that shit on? Roller seems back-breaking. I guess you attach teh roller to a pole? yea, Im really that clueless.

Yes Sir rollers and paint brushs. And since you should apply two coats, it could be back breaking.
