    Looks like he's giving it all up. Certainly he's done with the Saints.

    I can't decide if I think it's a classy move to admit he's not enjoying it and walk away from the paycheck, or if it's a shitty move for leaving the Saints high and dry midway though the season when he should be knuckling down and getting his head into it.

    I'm inclined towards the latter, I think.

    The man dosen't want to play, can't fault him. Better now than in say, December and the Saints are fighting for a spot.

    In a game like football, where the toll on your body is so high both daily and with long term effects, if your not loving it, get the hell out. Half assing it is only going to get yourself or someone else hurt along the way.

    Well, the Saints were shopping him around before the trade deadline, so I don't think the high and dry argument works.

    - Fighting a knee injury, missed his first games of his career
    - New team at reduced pay after being low balled by the Bears
    - Trade rumors

    Yeah I can see why he might have lost interest.

    You're right, that is a baseless comment, I take it back. I'd like to think he's doing it for the right reasons.
