Clearly says MS has a weak arm. Most of the other things he says are true, MS DOES throw well on the run. He does have a quick release. And he does have a weak arm. His deep throws are the same or worse punt-throws that Penny threw. But whats important here is that everything good you can say about MS you can say about KC:

    - throws well on run
    - quick release
    - can move around to buy time and make a great throw

But on top of that KC has a stronger arm and is already on the team.

If MS turns out to be an okay QB don't give me any I-told-you-sos cuz I never said he wouldn't be. I'm just saying he won't be a great QB and he won't be any better than either KC or Ratliff.

And where do people get this idea that MS would have been the number one pick next year? The whole reason MS came out _this_ year is he feared going against next year's QB competition. Thats why MS waited until he was sure Bradford, McCoy, etc wouldn't come out before declaring. Thats why Pete Carroll was taken by surprise and had to cut a vacation short to be at the media circus. PC wasn't expecting MS to go pro, when the deadline approached and MS was sure he would be in a weak draft class he declared.

Do we need 14 fucking threads on Sanchez in 2 pages? Seriously?

Mods, can we please, for the love of god, merge these?

Really, it doesn't matter..Clemens is gone and Sanchez will be the QB of the future. Good or bad it is what it is. This is as asinine as debating Pennington still.

I like Clemens tools in terms of release and arm strength. Where Clemens had huge issues and if you watch Sanchez one of his huge strengths is footwork. Sanchez has great footwork, Clemens footwork was an outright disaster.

Sanchez has a better arm than Chad who before he was hurt had an adequate arm but Sanchez has a much quicker set up and release than Chad and can throw on the run. These are real NFL skills that you can't ignore.

The other thing in that video that you can't ignore is field vision. That is not about smarts that's about coordination and the ability to utilize the skills. We don't know if Clemens has that at the NFL level. Our management worked out Sanchez and believes he has that.

Ryan was definitive that Sanchez has the arm to make all the throws, you couple that with field vision, release and footwork and we might well have something special. The kid also seems to be a hard worker a natural leader and carries himself well. I'm drinking the cool aid at least until the first pre-season game.
